Not much action on the old Warriors thread so here’s another one.
The Warriors, who have reached the playoffs 8 out of the last 10 seasons, reached the finals 5 of the last 8 season, and won the Finals 3 of the last 8 seasons are set to reach the Finals again.
No mean feat for a team that was dog meat for a good 14 seasons. Just glad the old owners got out.
Anyhow, I’m sure this game will be heavily tilted by the refs to go Dallas’ way as one more game = a lot more money for the NBA and the cities involved. But I don’t think even the refs can alter the situation.
Warriors sweep.
The Eastern Conference Finals on the other hand are pretty much a slug-fest between Miami and Boston. As John Madden famously said:
“I don’t know if I’m watching 2 great defenses or 2 terrible offenses.”
This certainly holds true for both teams. Boston has some nice players like Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Maxwell Smart, and they are solid defensively, but meh. Same with Miami. Butler and Herro are a pretty lethal backcourt, but the rest are role players. There are no big big men left, so this should all work out to the Warriors favor.
My thought originally was if we could get through the West, we’d be a shoe-in for the whole enchilada.

Chalk one up for Javon Kinlaw. Fucking Grant Cohn is such a little bitch. His schtick is so tiresome and awful. The team should duct tape his stupid ass to one of the goal posts.
Cohn is an ass but Kinlaw needs to avoid getting into it with any reporter. Poor judgement on his part.
Cohn doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about most of the time, so you can’t let his dumbass opinion get to you. Watch 10 of his videos on YT for proof of his idiotic take on anything pertaining to football. He takes shots at players and coaches alike in his columns too, so I can’t imagine he’s too popular with anyone on the team.
But Kinlaw needs to be smarter than that. The dude isn’t worth it. Just let it go, let your play on the field do the talking.
Yeah, I get it, but this is exactly what Grant wants. This will just egg him on more, unfortunately.
As long as it’s all talk nothing should come of this.
Probably not. Niner Nation reported that Kinlaw knocked his cap off his head, but I don’t know how accurate that is. He deserves it, but just focus on football. A lot is riding on this season for Kinlaw.
Yeah, Kinlaw shouldn’t be playing into this, but someone on the team was gonna fuck with him.
Sports writers just love stir shit up. I don’t think they should let Cohn anywhere near the 49er facilities.
