Game Day 11 – Revenge of the Lambs

Yeah, I don’t see how we win another game severely undermanned as we are. Even our unknown starters (RG Tom Compton) is out with a concussion, along with Trent Williams who is ?able with COVID. Mostert, Deebo, and Wilson are back, though, so we might generate some offense.

Kinlaw is back as well, but I don’t know. The Rams have been on a rampage since they lost to us, beating the Hawks and the Bucs in the process, but I really don’t see it. Mullens needs to show something more than inconsistency and the line needs to block much better. The run game should improve with Mostert back, but still and all, this looks like another 31-17 type deal.

Huzzah.

Not to mention the Covid restrictions after they play in LA.
Reading that they’re looking into TX/AZ as the landing spot to spend the next few weeks away.
    What a cluster%#$k…

2020 – Nothing close to it in terms of bizarre.

Well the good news we get to see the Rook Colton McKivitz at RG.The bad news he will be getting a heavy dose of DPOY annually in Aaron Donald!
I’ll be watching that matchup as I believe he played fairly well filling in in his last start, cause if he’s not Mullens will be on his back a lot with Donald’s face mask glued to his face mask..

  3. Winder's avatar Winder says:

Fuck this season. It doesn’t make sense to keep it going.

Once the cash cow starts rolling, it won’t stop. Surprised they even pushed the Steeler game. But they are undefeated.

  5. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Wondering if the Raiders will puke on their shoes in this relatively easy game vs Atlanta. They have a habit of blowing the easy ones.

  6. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

So far so good. 1st and goal on the 2 and the Raiders: get a holding call and get an illegal use of hands call, 2nd and goal from the 24, and they fumble it away.

  7. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Doh! Niners taketh away. Niners giveth back. Raiders shit the bed and the Cards lose to the Pats.

    Weird year indeed.

  8. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    Good to have Mostert back.

  9. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

But then out of know where the 49ers open huge holes by the OL( keep pounding the pigskin down there throats)and Mosert walks in in touched for 6!! Go figure, but it is nice to have Deebo,Sherman,Wilson and Mosert back!!

  10. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

HEY!!! Sherm with the pick. Niners off to a good start.

  11. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Not bad to have Sherman back as well after that interception!

  12. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Fuck me. Jesus. What a joke,. D tightens up though.

  13. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Boy talk about a lack of confidence in the passing game.

  14. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Jesus. Mullens is awful. Rams playing it very safe.

  15. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

And that is a prime example of why no confidence, but in defense of Mullins, if your only calling for a pass when you absolutely have to pass your QB cannot get into any kind of rhythm, we saw it in the SB, for whatever reason Mahomes couldn’t get in a rhythm in the first half, but the 3rd and 4th quarters he did.

  16. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

And then of course you have an Oline that cannot pass protect, 2nd and 22, you know they are sending everyone

  17. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Can’t block Donald with 2 guys

  18. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Ward has come to play atleast with 2 forced fumbles keeping the defense fired up as well..

  19. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Why in the hell didn’t they try a pass to the end zone, you are not going to the playoffs, go for it.

  20. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Because we can’t block long enough to get anyone open deep. I get trying to get closer for the FG but Gould fucked up.

  21. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Which is why we need to take our deep shots on 1st down. 2nd and 3rd down, they just pin their ears back and get into our backfield easily.

  22. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Great article about Niuner consultant Harry Edwards and the rebel nature of the Bay Area in the Chron today.

  23. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Boom! The pressure gets to Goff and Kinlaw with the pick 6!

  24. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

How about that Kinlaw’s 1st career pick good for 6!!
49ers Defense has Goff looking like Denver’s 4th stringer QB lol 😂

  25. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    D is very solid today.

  26. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Niners can really put the pressure on the Rams.

  27. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

One mistake on the drop by Deebo and the drive is shot.

  28. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

The announcer just called it on Mullins, he is a throw it in the area of the receiver and hope for the best, he is not a QB who can throw to a specific spot

  29. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

    Defense!!! Defense!!!Defense!!!
Stuffing the run and dominating the Rams OL!!
