Game Day XIII ! ! !

The march toward the no 1 pick continues at home today against the  beat-up Broncs. Don;t think we will win again this year, but this is the most winnable. The Raiders look to lose against Pittsburgh so we have to keep pace.

That’s fucking hilarious because I could’ve sworn you guys were mocking the Raiders a few weeks ago for tanking for Bosa. Now you idiots are cheering a Raiders win and making fun of them because they’re NOT tanking and the Niners have the top pick for Bosa? Make up your mind, fer Christ’s sake!

25 calendar months ago the Raiders were the #1 seed in the AFC.
The Raiders traded one of the best players in the league for a song: two low first round picks for a tip-top second rounder.
They traded Amari for a low first rounder.
For this dismantling, they’re paying Gruden $100 mil. He did the exact same thing to Tony Dungy’s Bucs, you may recall, and they have never to this day recovered.
They’re going to be the Slot Machine Raiders in no time, don’t know why you care.

Well, at least we aren’t complete failures like you. Living off the grid in mom’s basement. She even cleans up after NoFear. What a gal.

Some of us get that losing your starting QB matters.

The Bosa Express is in real trouble, anyway. We have to hope that AZ can extend the Falcons losing streak this weekend @Atlanta, or else AZ will almost certainly win the SOS battle for #1 overall. AZ doesn’t need Bosa, but they’ll be in perfect position for a trade with some team that does.

That’s the caveat to holding #1 RT.
Turning it into multiple Picks, if you’re not going to use it.
The Rams are where they are, in large part, because Danny went all in for RG III.
We should be more concerned with Shanny.
He becomes neurotic with a lead.
His strategy leaves me scratching my ass most times.
Seems his ass puckers, when the Red Zone squeezes his ability to operate in tight spaces.

Shanny’s Learning just like the rest of the team in how to win and close games out. Pettis did no favors by dropping what would have been about a 20-30 yard gain whe he dropped that 3rd down pass, but in the end they got the 1st downs they needed.

Regardless of the last play fuck up in not letting the clock run down far enough on the last kneel down. Glad he’s learning these things in unimportant games like this one and not a playoff game.

I just thought that we would have a very dynamic offense by now. Whether he’s taking the load off of our backups by running the ball or not it seems like we are real predictable. Mullens seems to have the upper hand to be our backup next year so let him open it up a little more.

The offense is pretty good seeing as we are on our 3rd string QB. They still make dumb mistakes (2 false starts on Laken Tomlinson, Trent Taylor’s deflection-pick, conservative play-calling), but in the end they did enough. Nothing beautiful about it, as Denver simply triple-teamed Kittle to take him away entirely, but they got the 1st downs they needed to keep the ball out of Denver’s hands.

Pettis’ drop was huge as he was free and clear for 20 yards because of Kittle’s drawing all the attention, and the pass to Taylor to end it was also because of the attention paid to Kittle. This is definitely something they need to exploit if teams continue to double up on Kittle.

    New thread is up.
