Game Day V!!!

If we can’t win this, we may run the table to 0-16. It’s the Luckless Colts for God’s sake. I doubt it happens, but this one should be relatively easy.

23-13 Niners . . .

WTF, go downfield. all these incomplete dink passes makes things easy for the fucking D

  2. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

That should just about do it.

  3. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

Pas rush didn’t get anywhere near Brissett the entire second half. Nowhere near.

  4. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

0-5 with no end in sight.

9 wins starting to look unlikely.:)

    Coach became conservative in OT

    • Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

The coach has as much work to do as his players do. Erratic play calling, conservative mindset at the wrong times.

  7. Nipper's avatar Nipper says:

In the end …….a BIG OUCH and Spit gets to call us all a bunch of idiots and he knew the outcome all along!

  8. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

This team could easily be 0-10 with their upcoming schedule.

    • Nipper's avatar Nipper says:

Oh the pain! Thinking about future of defeats hurts.

    • Winder's avatar Winder says:

I don’t think it really matters who we play at this point we will surely find a way to fuck it up. At this point the only thing we are consitant about are penalties. Hyde reverted back to his old self and Breida just isn’t the answer. Hoyer doesn’t look like he has the confidence that a good QB should. And I too thought some of the play calling could have been better. Anyway, at least this game wasn’t over until the last second.

What really annoyed me is seeing the defense drop 7 guys 20 yards back on big 3rd down plays. We had a chance to keep Incy out of FG range and instead gave up 15 yards on 3rd and 25. And the TD we ended up giving up late was the same thing.

Passive shit gets toasted even by shitty teams.

  10. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Again, they could be 4-1 but play well enough to lose.

Again again, this certainly is better than being out of games midway through the 2nd quarter.

    The day after………sniff

  12. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

The only thing good about these games is they are not over at the half like so many of the games in the last two-three years. At least now I have a reason for cussing at my TV about late in the game

  13. Winder's avatar Winder says:

RIP Y.A. Tittle. Even though I was young I still remember him, he was one of the best. I also went to High School with one of his sons at Menlo-Atherton.

    • Nipper's avatar Nipper says:

Yeah when I was a kid my folks used to yak about Tittle. Brodie was the new player ready to take over. Tittle found success in New York more than he ever had with the Niners.

  14. rob's avatar rob says:

Well Y.A. Tittle R.I.P. . Never got to see him play but know he was a forerunner to what would come next !

  15. rob's avatar rob says:

Oh ! people are such knuckleheads ! Hyde sharing time with Matt Breida is a big controversy ! Everybody is acting like it’s a cataclysm ! Especially the writers who “follow” the team !
To me this is great news ! Hyde and the FB jur.azek (sp) kick ass IMO ! Adding Breida is just adding the much needed lightning to our thunder ! To me this is great news ! Our running backs and O-line are set !

    • 12th Man's avatar 12th Man says:

The O line is set Rob???!!!???!!!???

      • Winder's avatar Winder says:

rob-I think you really lowered the standard for RB this time. Breida just might turn out to be special when he gets a little seasoned. Hyde is still way more cold than hot, although he does have a few really good runs this year. But still over all he isn’t the #1 back we need. I will just throw out some names. Tyler, Craig, Hofer, Garner, Waters, Hearst, Gore, D. Williams, and that is not even the older guys like Willard, Smith, Perry, McElhenny, etc. You can’t put Hydes name with those guys and I doubt anyone will ever be able too. SF has a rich history in RB’s and we need another one.

  16. rob's avatar rob says:

Now all we need to contend again are a #1 WR and maybe a TE ! Skittles however looks to be living up to the expectations I had for him post draft !
Um , did I mention the QB position yet ?

  17. Nipper's avatar Nipper says:

Ronnie Lott’s golf tournament in Santa Rosa was evacuated and the guests had to flee the area as that fire raged through the night and following day.

  18. Nipper's avatar Nipper says:

Carlos Hyde never excites me. For a number one back he’s underwhelming. He’s not a force and offense suffers.
