Still not much to report on here in Ninersforeverland, but all my favorite bands in the 70s seem to be losing members left and right. Gregg Allman is the latest to hit the highway to hell (or stairway to heaven) depending on your faith (or lack of it). Saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers last weekend, speaking of old rockers, and while it was a pretty damn good show (Tom’s band still has its chops), Tom is getting a bit long in the tooth himself. Other than that, we are looking at safety Jairus Byrd. And as we all know, the Byrd is the word.

I am curious to see what KS really sees in him. The one thing that stands out in my mind is that he plays with heart. He stands in there and isn’t afraid to take a hit. Another Giants loss in another part of the country yesterday. This season has gone south in a big way. At least the Dubs are creaming the Cavs so far. Durant makes a big difference for sure. LeBron is pissed! He doesn’t even go to the podium anymore for the lame media questions. One media person really got it after a foolish question, LeBron questioned him, “What do you think?” “You’re a smart guy, aren’t you?”
