Game Day! Oh Shit . . . That’s Right . . .

We suck. This’ll be my first game at the new digs, and it’ll be a stretch to say the team is rolling, or even showing up prepared. Gonna meet up with Irish Kevin and grab a beer or 3. Bringing a couple of the kids as well. Fun? We’ll see.

As far as the game? Shit. Who knows? We look like a 3-13 team after another week one peak. Crazy enough, we were doing better last year. I thought last year’s defense was bad. This year’s version is flat awful. Yeah, they’ve been hurt, and losing Ian Williams is still hurting, but they give up 15 yard runs 8 times a game.

The offense? Well, the fact that we are on to Kaepernick says something about:

a) Gabbert;

b) A renegotiated Kappie contract

c) A molasses-like run game

Christian Ponder, get ready. I have a little hope that Kaepernick will improve as the season goes along, mainly because he’s playing for his future in New York. Or Denver. Both those teams are not in any better QB shape as they were when the season started.

The Tampa Bags? Another fairly unimpressive team that at the beginning of the year I thought would be a fairly easy win. For us, I mean. Now of course all bets are off. We are less than the sum of our parts. A collection of players with no direction, and no plan. A front office with no clue and no organization. A miasma of middle managers muddying up the works. I don’t know. I will say though that my son talked me into making a couple of bag to wear over our heads. Yes, an improvement, and no, its not a fly-by . . .

Go Warriors . . .

  1. NJ49er says:

Have a beer or 2 for me as well guys.
We’re gonna need to numb the pain the rest of the way unfortunately.
I’m guessing this game is as good as any to predict a win, short of our putrid Run D making ‘Quizz look like the second coming of Shady McCoy.

    9ers – 27
    Bucs – 21

  2. Nipper says:

The D is so bad they may be the first team to draft fans out of the stands to play a few downs. If they grab you Chuck, remember to stick on a helmet and pray. Let us know if you sight any flybys.

  3. Nipper says:

There’s this thing called slow-mo. and then there is the Niner’s running game. It’s just one step beyond pause.

  4. Winder says:

Even though we suck it’s still a Niner game. Have some fun.

  5. Nipper says:

There’s this flying thingy overhead folks…………what’s that writing? Folks we have our binoculars on it………….U SUCK JED…….oops we must break for commercial!

  6. I’m a malignant tumor with eyes.

  7. Trump touched my pussy!

  8. Skeebers lets me wash his balls.

  9. Winder says:

While the cat’s away, the mice will play. Have a nice day.

  10. sandy32koufax says:

    Melody’s crushin on Chuck!

  11. Nipper says:

Please fire someone. Somebody has to walk the plank and jump into the sea of despair.

  12. rtfirefly says:

We just set the franchise record for most rushing yardage given up in consecutive games. Ever. First six game losing streak since 2008. Yippee.

9-0 can still get us in the playoffs. 8-1 and we could sneak in.

  13. Nipper says:

D sucks more than ever. 34-17 ouch!

  14. Berger says:

I know Bowman and Armstrong are out but this might be the worst set of inside LBs I have seen start for a Niner team. The defensive line does not 2 gap well. Can the coaching staff adjust? It doesn’t look like it. They need to start pushing up field and shooting the gaps. Our coach is being obtuse. He is making them play his system instead of utilizing their natural skills. Our bad LBs have no chance behind a D-line being misused.

  15. I love Tom Brady. He’s dreamy.

  16. melodymaker67 says:

    why don’t people like me?

  17. Nipper says:

When a team is this bad somebody must walk the plank. There’s no choices available. Jed to keep his leadership has to make a move soon. Fire some people! Sure it’s not reasonable, but to charge people money to watch this time of ineptness at the pro level is not decent at all.

  18. melodymaker67 says:

My name is really sophrosyne. I go to Ann all girls school.

  19. snarkk says:

I shan’t be following this train wreck the rest of this season. The best thing is lose the rest of the games, fire Baalke and all his FO people, and bring in a new FO altogether. The main thing of changing owners won’t happen. Chip can stay or go, whatever. Wait thru at least 3 more drafts and FA classes, maybe a winner will emerge. Oh, and get a QB. Adios…

  20. melodymaker67 says:

    Kisses.

  21. melodymaker67 says:

    I wish I had a friend. Hello?

  22. melodymaker67 says:

    Free hugs. Please?

  23. melodymaker67 says:

    Need help. Hug me?

  24. NJ49er says:

Good news melodymaker67- They restructured Kaepernick’s Contract recently, which is the first step toward moving on, to whomever Chip Kelly can find to run this childish Offense of his.
Sad news however, Eddie isn’t coming back to fix the mess his Sister/Bro-in-Law and Nephew have done to this franchise.
We’re stuck holding what’s left of our nuts until the Boy Prince et al sells or, is abducted by a Warlord of a Mexican Drug Cartel, if we’re fortunate enough.

    • NJ49er says:

You can however, protest your A$$ off locally so Jed hears what all of us are quietly typing about here, and elsewhere.
The Yorks have absolutely destroyed what Eddie built, all in the name of profits.
We’re not blind. We are however, limited in our abilities to force him out.
Unless of course, you’re holding a PSL and are willing to swallow it in protest.
Empty seats and, planes towing banners of rejection, are very visible, and REAL visual ways of speaking out against the crap they’ve managed to deliver since taking Ownership.
They’re clueless twits who think firing Coaches every couple of years shows leadership.
It simply shows how feckless they are about what it takes to build something beyond a stadium or a museum to honor what Eddie did, which was to put money into the guys playing the game for them.
      Which they know NOTHING about.
      It’s called NFL Football.

  25. rtfirefly says:

LOL at the Seahawks @ Cards game. If you missed it you wouldn’t believe it. Two short, short, short FGs to win (initial drive was long gone) missed in OT, one by each team. This after an AZ blocked punt late in the 4th kept the dead Seahawks alive. Neither team wanted it I guess. What a laugher!

  26. Berger says:

Kap was less than 50% passing today and usually had plenty of time to throw. Must’ve been windy. That was last week’s excuse. Good thing for him he can run or he’d already be back on the bench.

  27. Berger says:

As much as we need a better QB we need a better DC more than anything. He has a tough situation at ILB but he isn’t helping the with the way he is using the D-line. If he wants to 2 gap them he should be starting Jerrod-Eddy and Dial who already play that way. Then bring Armstead and Buckner in for pass rushing situations.

    • NJ49er says:

      It’s pathetic Berger.
Buckner is getting ridden off the line vs the running attacks and the LBs don’t fill.
It’s pretty obvious O’Neil isn’t getting through with this scheme he’s selling.
Dial knows how to play. Dorsey does too.
They look lost in this system.
Reid is taking up space for the most part.
Hope he’s not in line for an extension.
We might be better served with Tartt and Ward back there.
Bethea seems to be the only guy making tackles in the Run game.
I find it hard to believe all these guys can’t be taught.
It seems more realistic to think the message sucks.
As for ILB, we’re woefully thin.
Lose Patrick. Bow getting beaten up and wearing down now too.
Need to shop early, hopefully Foster from ‘Bama will be on that list come April.

  28. Sorry, I need to go to the hospital. I just sucked my dick off with the vaccuum cleaner and my dog is eating my balls. Talk to ya later!!

  29. melodymaker67 says:

    I’m lonely.

  30. unca_chuck says:

Did you count the drops, Bergs? VMcD, T Smith and Celek all killed drives with drops.

But even when the entire stadium knows TB was going to run, they got 12 yards.

Like my son said, if the games were 15 minutes long we’d be undefeated.

Good to see Irish Kevin. He stopped by for a beer. A gorgeous day wasted.

And NJ, just for fun, name an owner that has sold their football team for shifty attendance.

    • NJ49er says:

Chuck it’s simply a form of protest.
      Call it frustration.
They’re too eff’n rich to care unfortunately.

BTW, did you pick up your Kaep ‘Fro wig that seemed to be getting some TV time in the stands today?
      Unreal.

    • Berger says:

He also got some easy completions at the end of both halves to pad his stats. They were meaningless completions.

  31. unca_chuck says:

I will say we did get a lot of positive reactions to the bags. I’ll post a pic tomorrow.

  32. unca_chuck says:

At best it was a little over half full today.

I’d love to think that not going would help, and IVe certainly cut down on my attendance but the Bidwells have fielded shitty teams for decades and haven’t sold. The Bears have been a running joke for decades minus the Ditka years. Snyder ain’t giving up. He s got the golden goose now (Scotty M) besides.

The only hope is stupid mcfuckhead wishes up.

  33. unca_chuck says:

The QB ain’t all the be he’s not the one giving up 300 on the ground evvery week. As usual we gave up a shitload of 3rd downs. ST fuckup off the defensive stop to start the 3rd quarter.

You are acting like skeebie, Bergs. Not a peep about Gabbert leading us to 1-4. Now the QB is a big problem?

    • NJ49er says:

It’s easy to see that whatever Chip is trying to run isn’t working.
Be it QB or scheme, Chip is doing what he did in Philly.
Killing his own Defense with all these 3-n-outs.
Add to that, another Defensive scheme change which obviously isn’t working thus far.
Neither unit is helping the other.
Top 5 in April, here we come.

    • Berger says:

What do you mean not a peep about Gabbert? Are you joking or just revising history. Gabbert and Kap both need to go. I said Gabbert had to be replaced so we can get to Kap so we can eventually see if we have anything with Ponder. Try reading what I just wrote above. Despite our QB problems our biggest problem is the defense. Maybe you just don’t have very good reading retention.

    • Lurker John says:

I see Berger slamming the defense and one comment about your hero Kappy, Chuck, but nothing else. The dude sucks as bad as the rest of this disaster of a football team. The only light at the end of the tunnel I can see is Baalke finally getting canned.

We might need to pool our money and hire a sniper to get rid of Jed boy.

  34. rtfirefly says:

Bye bye, Joe Staley. Thanks for the memories!

  35. NJ49er says:

It’s probably a good thing for Joe RT.
He’s earned a better twilight than this garbage.
    Sh!t, deal Torrey too.
No one seems to know how to find him anyway.

  36. rtfirefly says:

    1) We’ve given up 562 yards rushing in the last two games, which as I noted before, is a consecutive game all time 49er record.

    2) We’ve given up more yards rushing in 7 games in 2016 than we did in 2011. ALL of 2011.

    3) We’re on pace to give up 2962.28 yards rushing. The all time NFL record is 2971 by the 1977 Kansas City Chiefs. WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!

    • NJ49er says:

No doubt in my mind RT.
      WE SUCK!
This is beginning to look like the Chip Rebuild Era now.
Question for me is, will Chip succeed with this Oregon Offense in the NFL?
      I’m having my doubts.
Especially with the pressure he’s putting on O’Neil already.
Doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in either guy right now if you ask me.
      Eff’n train wreck.

  37. unca_chuck says:

My hero? Blow me, LJ.. Bergs give Kaepernick shit for padding his stats? That’s all Gabbert does. 3rd an 12? Oooh. 4 yard completion. At least Kappy goes for the sticks.

These guys may suck but I’d rather have CK in there. OK? No one can win when everything sucks and the defense is a sieve.

Look, I’ve never been this disappointed since Dennis Erickson, Sing, and hfe eve of the Morabito era. This feels worse because the owner is a clueless fuck who has gone into hiding. And he’s likely running he team for the next 30 years.

  38. Nipper says:

I wonder if the white coats captured V. He’s really gone off his meds this time.
