A Season on the Brink

After a couple ugly losses and three ugly wins, the game everyone circled on the calendar as the divisional showdown between the 49ers and the Seahawks, instead turns out to be a battle for their playoff lives.

Seattle seems to be coming around from their Super Bowl hangover, but they went and stole the dysfunctional locker room moniker for the Niners by going through their own brand of hysteria. Gone is Percy Harvin, and freshly emerged is the animosity between Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawk front office and coaching staff.

Whatever. I’ve lost all sense of knowing what this Niner team is and what it can do. The new weapons of Stevie Wonder and Brandon Lloyd in the passing game are but distant memories as 90% of the passes now go through Boldin and Crabs with the occasional dropped passes by VD. The run game is a hit and miss deal now. The oft injured defense is soldiering on undaunted. And the play calling remains a mystery.

I have no expectations.

Comes down to whether Harbaugh finds any answers on Offense for me Chuck.
Defensively, we’ve held our own, despite huge odds regarding injuries, suspension and turnover.

As we all know, the issues rest on the Offense.
If Jim thinks business as usual will suffice, it suggests to me that he’s incapable of stepping up his game.
Back to my age old axiom, checkers vs chess.

I hope like H3LL he has something new to offer but, like you, I can’t get too caught up in expectations at this point.
    I just don’t think he’s that creative.

If I had to predict anything, I’d guess he’ll revert to the option plays, which make Kaep the last gasp wrinkle to gain yardage.
      Hope I’m wrong.

Just throw at Richard Sherman’s side. I don’t care. Make plays against the dude, and make him eat dirt…

I’m all for breaking from the norm Snarkk.
      4 WRS, no huddle, whatever.
Just change it up and try something new, (if they’ve found anything new since last year).
I hope Stevie and Bling are factors in this one frankly.

    Happy Thanksgiving, folks . . .

BLEEP to all you happy eaters! Remember that turkey gave his/her all to rest in your gut. I just hope the offensive Offense doesn’t imitate a bunch of turkeys.

This is TGiving and also a playoff game day.
Whoever loses at Levi today is realistically done as far as the playoffs are concerned…

,Dallas looks pathetic. Tony just did the Chris Evert sack.

Chicago did us no favors. Then again, keep winning and we’ll control our fate. I’d love to make that last game relevant. Just hope we can use the run game to our advantage and get some flow tonight.

  8. Lose tonight and the season is over. I can’t put it any more succinctly then that.

  9. Mark Sanchez is punking the Cowboys. We’d be better off not even making the playoffs than losing to Sanchez in them. That would be utterly disgraceful. Then again, that would be a perfect note on how to end Bo Schembechler Jr.’s™ career on here in San Francisco.

  10. WTF is everybody? I guess the tryptophan has already taken full effect.
This just is: Jonathan Martin had himself some extra tryptophan inducing turkey:
He sucks. And continues to do so…

    Kapernick: you bitch

  12. IH1961's avatar IH1961 says:

No chance with this ducked up play calling against this D. Game over

  13. Perspective: we just barely beat a WAS team who benched their QB this in favor of Colt McCoy. How fucking good can we be?

    We suck.

  14. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

I’m really starting to lose confidence in Kap. Biggest game of the year and he immediately goes about the business of fucking up. Way too much deer in the headlights crap from this guy. He had Lloyd on the pick. Throw it low and toward the sideline, first down. He didin’t.

  15. IH1961's avatar IH1961 says:

Wilson is a superior QB to Kap. Major choke on cock job at home on Thanksgiving. Fucking pathetic. This team sucks mother fucking dick

  16. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

I hate him, but Wilson is the kind of QB the Niners need.

  17. IH1961's avatar IH1961 says:

Seattle has this offense figured out. Not hard to do. Johnson open right there and No chance in this game.

  18. IH1961's avatar IH1961 says:

Stupid penalties, no clue on offense.

Glad I waited all day to wat h this piece of shit.
