That was a classic. Great win.

Amazing how GB can compete with virtually no running game.
11-5 is definitely in the ballpark now. This defense is stellar, if Fangio let’s em lose.
    Huge win, huge win…

  4. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

here were shitty calls on both sides. But from the opening kickoff on, GB got a bunch of help.

  5. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

I said 28-20. It was 30-22. Point differential was right.

    One down. Eighteen to go.

    Edwards with the whiff.

  8. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Take that Pack BS runback for TD away, and it’s more indicative of the ballgame. Niners really had control most of the game. Rogers probably throws 4 TDs next week. Wow, Arizona wins over Seattle….

  9. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

AZ’s a tough place to play. And Sea went with the rook. But Edwards just let a TD go right through his hasnds.

Classic,we get extended coverage of the Seattle/Ariz and.whats the 1st thing we see is the idiot Scabs looking like the dumbshits they are ,all huddling around a review booth. It’s gonna be a loooooooooooong season for eveyone if this.shit continues.

At least I had the first half score pegged. I thought it would be the final.

WTF did I say about not shaving the day of the game? The shit is starting to itch now.
But I’m a trooper. I’ll keep my 49er beard until tomorrow. Listen to me and listen to me good…my hair gets cut at the appropriate time. I cut my hair every week. I may be bald, but I’m a clean shaven bald. And you know what?

    How ’bout those Niners!?!?!?!?”

    I’ll shave Tuesday.

Alex was a playmaker first half, game manager in the second-that works for me. But this was reallly a compltete game against a very good team. And we overcame the bad calls *and* very poor field position…

I didn’t think we’d win this game because of the location and the opponent and the time of year but I couldn’t be more stoked about how we performed. NO ONE goes into GB and hands the Pack their ass. And they only crept back into it due to bush league officiating.
Alex Smith was very good as always.
125.6 > 93.3 is all you need to know about the QP bitch slap that Smith put on Rodgers…..

  15. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Bowman gets the game ball . . .

    Gore did great.

All around excellent game. The officiating was abysmal.

  16. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Sorry Dennis. You can’t become a fan after the game. NO PROPS FOR YOU!!!!

  17. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Too many good players to list. Alex hit just about every WR on the team. Blocking was shakey, but this is one of the hardest places in the league to win in.

    FUCK YEAH!!

    • bigflavor's avatar Flavor says:

If Dennis’ schtick about A-Smith wasn’t so fucking weird and obsessive it might actually be described as pathetic.
But since it’s the former I really don’t know what I’d call it…….

  18. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Did Chuck win the score prediction? Good for you. As a side note, Alex was MONEY. If I complained, I’d be a fucking phony . Alex played a great game. This Week 1 win throws put my predictions out the window. Good for you guys who carried on with the faith.

I still believe Peyton Manning was the Answer.

    • bigflavor's avatar Flavor says:

Well we are going to see how that plays out in our bet.
My angle is that Manning gets knocked out at some point in the year. And Smith will stay rock solid all year. We run the ball, something a lot of fans don’t like. So Smith isn’t going to be ringing up the 300 yard games too often (unless they’re losing, and what legit Niner fan would root for that?)

    • phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

Twin won it by being 2 points off the final. He called 30-24 vs actual of 30-22.
Chuck was second with 28-20; 4 pts off. He had the points differential right = 8
      Phil 3rd with 27-24 ; 5 pts off.

Well prolly a bunch a ways to figure it but that’s how I look at it anyway. Just for fun

      Great game!

  19. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Dennis, Manning isn’t going to make it through week 6. Regardless of what you think, Manning will not be able to take the pounding of a regular season.

    • Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Hey, Chuck! I can’t become a fan? Nigga please. I”ve been a fan since John Brodie opened it up. I( I have his autogra[gh AM a 49ers fan. Come let me… SB XXIII… from Miami…

Don’t you goddamn exclusive me on a weak verbal tort such as it is…

What if Manning was our QB and took the hit Smith did by Clay Matthews? Driven to his knees with CM pile driving his head into the astroturf: EL SNAPO. Game ovah
