99 Losses or Bust

We seem to be in the holding pattern of 1 win, 2 losses as this bland flavorless season continues it’s slow march to oblivion.

Looks like the 1985 team of Jimmy Davenport is safe in the knowledge that they will continue to be the one and only 100 loss team in the 144 year history of the NY/SF Gothams/Giants.

I mean, 5 more wins out of 21 games shouldn’t be that hard. Right?

Yeah, Houser is terrible, Mahle too. They are this year’s version of Beck and Winn, who Z once slated as sure thing starters. And those 2 are actually still on the team. Eek.

These supposed AA and high A classes of really good prospects better deliver when the time comes. Cox is supposedly one of ’em. Because if they don’t, this team is screwed through the rest of the 20’s and early ’30s…

Cox can fly around those bases. Really hoping that he can succeed.

Tagged the same pitch he K’d on the first time. He still looks a little hesitant up there, giving a a bit of a Meckler vibe. But he’s showing some promise.

This Cox kid looks intriguing. The kid has some wheels, for sure. Looks like promising glove, and has some pop that should improve as he matures. I think I’d rather see him stay around, and they can deal Ramos — though he won’t fetch much.

Looking for some possible positivities… Chapman seems to not be swinging for the fences anymore and is having better results… uh… just from watching recent highlights, the infield defense has looked good, even with Devers at 1st (for the most part), and I’d guess that will improve the more Eldridge plays 1st…. uh… don’t miss Bailey at all… uh… Trevor Mac is the future ace…. and yeah, play Cox more. Still don’t get the love for Gilbert…

Lee and Arraez may both make the AS game.

YES! Man, for all that Lee has done positively this season, I was hoping he would get another hit, but was thinking,”Damn, he has come through so many times, but he’s due to get an out.” Nope, that dude has ice veins this season. Seriously, I think he is putting it together this season and he’s probably a keeper.

Yeah Adumshit that’s 2 for 2 in screwing the pooch with RISP !Well atleast you didn’t challenge on the pitch RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE !! LMAOOOO when Krukow said Willy Tightened up his swing a lot!!

Mr,Clutch JHL with a 2 run double as he continues to scorched the ball and continue a great hitting streak!!
