! ! ! ! Can’t get any lower. Still I feel I’m sinking ! ! ! !

Outshined by Chris Cornell and Soundgarden. The theme song for your SF Giants 2026 team.

In a season full of pitching debacles and crushing losses, they managed to pull one out for the ages.

Yes, the biggest blown 9th inning league in the 125 year history of the team. They were 2,208-0 when leading by 6 or more in the 9th. Til today.

Up 9-3 in the top of the 9th, the team could not even get an out before Cincy tied it. Bivans came in and really had no clue. Not sure why whoever the interim manager even was didn’t pull him a little faster, but I think it was pretty obvious Bivens didn’t have it. He gave up the longest home run into the cove that I’ve ever seen. Then again, Smith came in and nuked the joint. And the rest was errors, walks and general rookie ball crap.

I guess the lockout is a blessing.

For Dolly . . .

McDonald has hit 9 batters in his last 10 starts. YIKES!

Koss getting a chance too this evening. Hmm . . .

SF is soccer crazy tonight, I guess…

Mexican place where I grabbed dinner had the game on four tvs, one showing a two minute delayed version in case you wanted to review something while keeping an eye on live action.

Stupid challenge by Cavenaugh. Zero situational awareness.

      I can relate…

His failure to challenge early last night on what was strike 3 to Perdomo helped lead to the three runs. Maybe that was pointed out to him.

Down to one challenge, Eldridge gets screwed on two pitches he could have appealed.

Back to back Jacks,Ramos&Bericoto let em fly both crushed!

  6. Macdog's avatar Macdog says:

Bericoto now has almost as many HRs as Lee in well over 200 fewer ABs, and yet needing a HR to tie in the 9th of the series opener Monday, V pinch-hit Lee for Bericoto.

Kind of anal shit on why this team is so stupid!

Koss on 1st one out,the pitcher Gallen already threw over twice so the next one is a balk unless it gets nailed are he gets 2nd base..Anyway you have your best hitter Arreaz up and he’s not stealing or even a hit&run? So Arreaz ends up hitting into ending inning DP!!

Don’t see that too often, looked like those back to back homers landed in nearly the exactly same place.

Praying that Chapman and Adames’s physicians think they need to be put on the 60 day IL list.

    • snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

A coincidence that the Giants break through with 6 runs so far after 6 frames, while their 2 most strike-out prone hitters are sitting out?

      I think not.

And, keep playing this Bericoto kid, he does something every game so far that is noteworthy, mostly good…

I finally like this LU too, even though Arraez and Schmitt are not hitting this evening. That wont last. Keep putting these guys out there and see what happens.

. . . and yes, Bericoto is a stud. Frankly, he’s an upgrade in left field versus Ramos too.

our 8th inning specialist is warming up. God help us.

Off hand, no . . . I knew I should have paid attention at those Stupas in Nepal.

lol . . . I was the tourist going around counterclockwise around those Stupas (pradakshina).

And here comes the keystone cops Giants butchering balls all over the field! 6-3 and looking ugly..McDonald pitched so damm well, to watch this shitshow comeback..

Does Walker get credited with a HOLD if they hang on?

  14. Paul Sorensen's avatar Paul Sorensen says:

Did Walker really just allow 4 hits and 3 runs on 12 pitches without getting an out? Can someone please explain why he is still on this team?

do not go gentle into that bad night

Nice win, with too much drama in the 8th.

  17. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

OMG A Fucking Giants Win!! Yippee 1-8 against Snakes!!Killian was filthy closing this out, unlike Fatboy Miller, and Gasoline Walker!

  18. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Send Walker, his gas can, and his Old Testament back to Sac, or better yet — DFA this guy. Why is he even pitching in the 8th inning — regardless of how many runs up the Giants are.

Let Walker pray for control and out pitches on some other organization’s time. He’s had enough chances, no more needed. They need to trade Ray and Arraez ASAP and get some pitchers in here.

McDonald finally — a starter other than Ray and Webb who goes 6 innings, what a concept. Marichal was only getting warmed up after 6 frames.

Baricoto — just play this guy every day, lefty/righty does not matter. Good swing, good glove so far…

Niekro brothers vs Perry brothers 🤔🤔?

    • alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

      Good question Loo!
Im leaning towards the Perry Brothers they had 3 CYA(Gaylord 2& Jim 1) where the Niekro’s never won 1) they also had a higher combined WAR I believe and won more games combined I think 🤔 Plus I was a huge Gaylord fan the dude was a bulldog and saw him pitch for the Giants with Marichal a deadly combo..
Niekro was solid too both brothers were Joe& Jim good secondary pitchers but never got recognized for the HOF which was probably right. Not a fan of knuckle ball pitchers ,I’ll take the spitter duo easily lol 😂 but all were good pitchers I believe Jim is still alive at 90 ?
