! ! ! ! Can’t get any lower. Still I feel I’m sinking ! ! ! !

Outshined by Chris Cornell and Soundgarden. The theme song for your SF Giants 2026 team.

In a season full of pitching debacles and crushing losses, they managed to pull one out for the ages.

Yes, the biggest blown 9th inning league in the 125 year history of the team. They were 2,208-0 when leading by 6 or more in the 9th. Til today.

Up 9-3 in the top of the 9th, the team could not even get an out before Cincy tied it. Bivans came in and really had no clue. Not sure why whoever the interim manager even was didn’t pull him a little faster, but I think it was pretty obvious Bivens didn’t have it. He gave up the longest home run into the cove that I’ve ever seen. Then again, Smith came in and nuked the joint. And the rest was errors, walks and general rookie ball crap.

I guess the lockout is a blessing.

For Dolly . . .

Even the sliders from lefties give Willy problems. At least he didn’t make an out on two pitches this time.

Bericoto saves the day with OF assist.

  3. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

Yeah, that was a wild play, particularly at home plate. Bericoto is definitely feeling good about that.

Maybe K n K hit on something. Mahle just needs a month off btw starts.

  5. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

Dunno Willie, but Mahle is probably grateful to be facing the A’s (or at least his ERA is).*

*May have typed this too quickly.

When the ball is hit to Chapman, I’m confident the play gets made, especially the throw. It’s the exact opposite — more like dread — when it’s hit to Adames.

The ump with the tight K zone is clever. When he’s wrong, it’s almost never a terrible call.

Should we call it yet? 1-0 and the curse of the Muncy’s continue from Father to Son.. That was no cheapie HR..

AK, with Eldridge and Schmitt batting, I thought it was almost a sure thing we would at least tie it. Not to be I guess . . .

I can’t believe the 2 Max Muncy’s aren’t related. That’s almost as crazy as Don and Wade Blasingame…

Lee’s play there was better than the “Pence like” play he made last week imo.

    BOOM! Devers!

  13. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Power on Power the Kid throws 100 mph and Devers cranks the dead red to dead CF to tie it up..

  14. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

Now Bericoto! Wow! What an ending.

  15. willedav's avatar willedav says:

Holy shit! Maybe try playing the kid more often, eh?

  16. Macdog's avatar Macdog says:

    Bericoto bomb for the win!

the kid walks it off! Too cool. Rafi also must’ve enjoyed the roaring crowd for his blast. Baseball’s great.

Probably the happiest moment to date for the rookie.

Well the kid Berrecoto ( it doesn’t matter what your name is?) has 2 HR’s to win games this year and a great throw to the plate to cut down a runner in this one! Nice Job!
