99 Losses or Bust
We seem to be in the holding pattern of 1 win, 2 losses as this bland flavorless season continues it’s slow march to oblivion.
Looks like the 1985 team of Jimmy Davenport is safe in the knowledge that they will continue to be the one and only 100 loss team in the 144 year history of the NY/SF Gothams/Giants.
I mean, 5 more wins out of 21 games shouldn’t be that hard. Right?
The Brisbee article on the big 3 is kinda grim. The Giants might wind up pushing for a multi-year lockout.
I can see a few teams that might want a slow reboot. It might not be a bad idea for the whole league.
Media money would fight that tooth and nail.
NY Times? Do you have a link?
June 16 in The Athletic. Giants are willing to trade their high priced players was headline.

Kyle Harrison back on track after that weird one in Las Vegas. A mere 2.5 months into the season, and the Brewers wouldn’t trade him for Devers and Adames combined, even at steep salary discounts. That’s pretty crazy.
Giants are used to going at least a few days between wins, so this is no different.
Well, Ray did something for his trade value.
If they hold on to Arraez, they have a chance to be the first team since the 97 Red Sox to have three 300 hitters.
I nominate the rain as Star of the Game for suspending play and getting Doogie out of the game.
Hmm . . . Great idea Mac!!!!!!!! On that note . . .
“I nominate, constitute, and appoint an asteroid to serve as “Executor” (or executioner) directed at Oracle Park, whereby the Giants season is suspended.”
We played a game already?
Ray pushed his stock back up. Sell, sell.
It’ll be interesting to see if “the best change up in baseball” is more effective this time around. Even if the speed difference and release point are still largely undeceptive, the kid can’t be worse than hoser or malefactor. I bet.
What are the odds tho? Dollar gets you a dime? That bar for the Whizzenator to clear is underground. I really didn’t think those 2 would be as bad as they are.
Nice of Roupp and his bigot buddies to put the Giants in the national news. Baer is thrilled, for sure.

Kruk was on KNBR this morning and addressed it. He was pretty eloquent; bottom line, he didn’t appreciate it, and thought it was not good for team cohesion and organization. You can spin up the podcast of it on the KNBR website if you want.
All I remember from the God Squad is they turned the ribbons sideways to look like fish.
Fucking weasels.
Shouldn’t they all be damned to hell for having tattoos?
Nice 6+ outing(s) from Ray. His stock is up. Sell, sell, sell before something happens to that arm…
Everyone, not named Houser and Chapman seemed to play well today. Need everyone (including Chapman) to play well up to the trade deadline, to boost their stock/potential, whereby Buster, et. al., can make a trade(s) with fill in the blank.
I’ve been reading for years about how slow Arraez’s bat speed is. I didn’t realize that when he gets a meatball he doesn’t slap, he cranks it.
Eldridge otoh often looks effortless.
Arraez’s bat speed when he takes warm up swings looks super fast to me.
he’s always ready to let it fly.
Albies slings the ball like Trillo did.
just catching up. Why the fuck is go. Y are you running on a 3-0 count?
oooooo back to back jacks.
Surely Walker will be next to complete the troika.
it’s amazing. Adames swings at every slider as if it’s a hanger. He’s right about five per cent of the time.
Since Adames brain only works at 2.5 % of the time 5% seems to high to me..
Holy shit Walker gets out of the 8th.But it better be Killian in the 9th!!
I’m not trading Arreaz boom another 2 rbi clutch hit,I’m extending him , dude is to clutch a player, and should be an AllStar,
Giants are glad to have Gage back?
Jesus. Pull the guy already
