99 Losses or Bust

We seem to be in the holding pattern of 1 win, 2 losses as this bland flavorless season continues it’s slow march to oblivion.

Looks like the 1985 team of Jimmy Davenport is safe in the knowledge that they will continue to be the one and only 100 loss team in the 144 year history of the NY/SF Gothams/Giants.

I mean, 5 more wins out of 21 games shouldn’t be that hard. Right?

Roupp looks overrated to me. The guy can’t seem to stop throwing 100+ pitches to get through 5 innings or 80+ for 4, etc. He either can’t command his pitches or he’s not confident in throwing his stuff for strikes. Whichever, he’s doing the team no favors. Throw friggin’ strikes, man…

Key the “Jaws” theme . . . as Vitello hands the ball over to Miller.

    “Shark” eats Giant (Miller) again.

Well, there goes this game on that 3-run dong.

Surprise, Eric Miller is still doggy doo.

I would give him the benefit of the doubt and say he’s still hurt since he came back from the IL. He hasn’t been the same since he got hurt. Wouldn’t be surprised if he goes back on the IL or back down. He just should not be in this Pen, like a lot of his fellow Pen members…

Shocking, Adames swings for strike 3 at a slider in the dirt and headed for Brisbane…

Eldridge is a fledgling phenom, but can he hit a 6-run homer?

And the Giants have the 3 WWW pitchers in Sacramento Whisenhunt,Whitman,&Wilkerson all pitching great, but hey why would they need those guys for a new spark when we have little talent on the staff now..

    Bomb Eldridge!

  18. willedav's avatar willedav says:

Order of lineup doesn’t matter if none them hit.

getting Eldridge extra AB was pretty good idea though!
