All-Time Post of Forever (Post #1)

I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

Gregory Gone – Brock Wright Matched
Erstwhile underachiever Randy Gregory is looking for greener pastures in Tampa Bay as we showed no interest in keeping him, and Brock Wright was matched by the Deetroit Lions, thus depriving us once again of a backup TE that can … Continue reading
No News is Slow News
Well, there is this. The 49ers are trying to address their black hole at back up tight end by offering restricted free agent Deetroit Lions TE Brock Wright a deal. Deetroit’s offer is 1 year at $3 mill. No word … Continue reading
Here We Go Again, Maybe
Here we are again trying to sign a budding star to a deal. Lynch didn’t even bother with DeFo Buckner, he waited forever with Deebo and Bosa, to the detriment of both players, and did pretty well with warner and … Continue reading
Young Chased – Spring has Sprung
Spring hit with a vengeance as temps roared up to the mid-70s these past couple days. Good times. A funny thing happened on the way to the bank. Chase Young signed a one year $13 million deal with the Saints, … Continue reading
The Dust is Settling
Plenty of moves this free agency, so let’s just wee what we got. Gone are a 7th round pick, Arik Armstead, Isaiah Oliver, Oren Burks, Sam Darnold, Clelin Ferrell, and Charlie Woerner. Here are Maliek Collins, Jordan Elliott, Yetur Gross-Matos, … Continue reading
Busy Little Beavers
I need a fricking scorecard to keep up with the doings on these 49ers. Since Eric Kendricks gave up on his shot to win a Super Bowl and instead picked Dallas, the 49ers signed De’Vondre Campbell, recently on the Packers. … Continue reading
Rebuilding the Defense
For a team that had one of the top defenses in the league last year, the 49ers front office isn’t sitting on their hands. Gone is Steve Wilks. Replaced by Nick Sorensen and Brandon Staley. Gone are Javon Kinlaw, Clelin … Continue reading
Free Agency Free For All
Free agency is coming, and with it a LOT of QB moves. Some have already happened. Jac Mones is now a Jag. He was traded for a 6th round pick by the Pats! Baker Mayfield is staying with the Bucs. … Continue reading
AA Bye Bye
Well, no room for sentimentality. Arik Armstead declined a salary restructure, so the 49ers unceremoniously released him today. Color me fine with this. He’s been a solid enough guy, but never really lived up to the high expectations as a … Continue reading
Coaching Additions – Seattle Style
