And Here We Go –

You don’t win the Super Bowl in August, but apparently you can lose it then, to re-coin an old baseball adage.

The 49ers injury carousel is spinning wildly as Keadon Black and Mike Evans have both missed practices, both with muscle strains. Evans’ quad strain could be a 3 month deal, and Black’s adductor the same.

Yay!

Pearsall is out for the year as we know, and Mikail Kamara was cut after blowing out his knee. Christian Kirk has a calf injury.

ALL these injuries are nom-contact injuries. What is the fucking deal? Are they starting out too fast? If so, how many fucked up seasons do they have to endure before they understand that maybe pushing it from day one isn’t such a good idea?

They’ve wasted so many seasons with injuries it defies belief.

Yeah it’s fucking out of control as usual every season they can’t get it going with injuries! Black abductors muscle,Evans tight quad, Stribling, tight hamstring? Height was out dehydrated? It’s not the staff is totally pushing them they were off last Thursday? And light workouts without pads sometimes it’s just for sure the most injured team in football always! Maybe Winders right that they draft soft players.Fuck I don’t know, well atleast theirs time to get these guys healthy Including Shanahan ?????

A lot of players have said they go real hard real fast in practice. From the start.

I’ve also heard that y they don’t pay enough attention to pre-practice warm-ups but that one may just be idle talk.

All I know is that this team in 7 of the past 9 seasons under Shanahan has been in the top 5 for injuries.

    Key Training Camp Injuries:

    • Wide Receivers: Christian Kirk (calf strain), Mike Evans (quad strain), De’Zhaun Stribling (hamstring), and Ricky Pearsall (knee/PCL) have all missed practice time, prompting recent depth signings like Deebo Samuel.
    • Mikail Kamara (DE): Placed on injured reserve after suffering a season-ending torn ACL in practice.
    • Jordan James (RB): Sidelined with a fractured rib.
    • Kaedon Black (RB): Adductor injury.
    • Vederian Lowe (OT): Dealing with a high ankle sprain and expected to miss extended time.
    • Malik Mustapha (S): Out with a hamstring issue.
    • Keion White (DE): Recovering from ankle surgery after an off-field shooting incident.
    • Gracen Halton (DT): Out with a knee bone bruise.
    • Andrew Farmer (DL): Sidelined with a back injury

All this injury stuff every year defies the media excuse that it’s just “bad luck”. You don’t have bad luck every year, because if it happens repeatedly over time, and you have the highest “playing time lost due to injury” statistic over a long period of years, luck has nothing to do with it.
