Game II – Silencing the Lambs

Are the Rams the scrappy underdogs? They have Stafford and Donald, and a whole bunch of mid-level draft picks that are looking to make m=names for themselves. You have to think Seattle underestimated the Rams a bit as they built their 13-7 lead. Seattle was shut out 23-zip in the 2nd half.

Seattle certainly isn’t as good as the Niners, and this will be pretty much a home game, so I don’t see us letting down or coming out flat. A fast start like last week would be most helpful. We are healthy and ready. Got to bank as many wins as we can, and this is eminently winnable.

Got a buddy from Santa Barbara going to the game so I’m curious to see how loud it is and how much this turns into a home game. Would love to see a game in that new stadium. I’ve seen a ton of baseball games at opposing stadiums, but obnly one game at the Masoleum.

Let’s go!!!!

Nothing wrong with Moody’s leg from 57 yards and perfect for the season!

  2. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

And here comes Freddy Warner getting an impressive sack of Stafford!

Looks like Wilkes is making adjustments, good job

  6. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Yep. Warner is a beast on the blitz.

    Deebo is saving Purdy’s ass.

Looking better in the 2nd half

  9. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

This is crunch time for Shanny. He needs to put this game away and not give the Rams another chance.

Kyle needs to score here to put the game away. Don’t just try to use up the clock. The Rams have been stopping their run game.

This is the game right here. It is up to the D now

  12. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Fuck that. Shit calls all around, and Purdy missed the slant.

  13. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    Stafford to the rescue.

10 points shouldn’t be a problem, but stranger things have happened

  15. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Lenior with the interception as the D and the 49ers say we OWN u Lambs!

  16. willedav's avatar willedav says:

Didn’t get the TO. Could have just run the football, taken the FG and kep clock running.

  17. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Own age is own age and the 49ers have that!! Defense bends but never breaks making key stops down the stretch!

  18. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Need to address Purdy’s deep throw accuracy

  19. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

This game is over and they are committing penalties, you can see Kyle is pissed, as he should be

  20. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Yeah, Purdy did hit Jennings on a deep route, but he missed three very badly. And he talked about it after the game. 2 would have been TDs.

Got to say, the Rams are a pretty fucking good team. Their lines did a very good job against us. Esp their O line vs our D line. And Wilks finally did dial up the pressure and get Stafford rattled for a couple 2nd half picks.

I did not see that coming. Seattle also played tough in Deetroit and pulled out a win.

AZ appears snakebit as they could be 2-0 but are 0-2.
