Unlike the last couple seasons, this team needs to start fast and get some distance between teams like Philly and Dallas. Not too worried about Minnesota but these seasons have a way of being nothing like we think they will go.
Yeah, no one thought we would lose to Chicago last year. Every team is tough and supposedly better than last year. We are a good team but still can’t afford to underestimate any team.

I’d actually like to see Lance start a couple games. Mainly because I want to be sure Purdy is healed, but also just to see what the hell we got with Lance. There is no way to know if he’s simply backing up all the time.

No shit. Harrison could be the real deal. Schmitt is a bit of a surprise, but Bishop is out for the year, Ramos is not cutting it, Hjelle is crap, but there is Luciano possibly making it, and Villar is doing the Matt Williams.
Hard to say why, but the Giants seemed to get railroaded by COVID more than other teams in how it stunted player development. Or they are just slow to catch on.
