Not really thrilled about this one as the season ended so badly, but hey, it’s the Super Bowl. Miss the 5 hours of pregame and the 45 minute halftime and it seems like another Sunday.
Seeing as I was a big Chiefs fan growing up, and the fucking Eagles had a pretty easy road through the playoffs, I hope the Chiefs steamroll the Iggles and their doouchey fans. They can cry with their Phillie brethren in being close but not quite.
Flying to Montana today to see the kids and get some skiing in, so we will hit some bar tomorrow to watch the game. Big Sky or bust!!!

Yeah my earliest football memories are Dawson to Taylor, Lamonica to Biletnikoff, Hadl to Alworth. The AFL was kick-ass back in the day.

Funny thing is I was skiing today in Montana and there a was a group of guys standing at the top of the lift when I was taking a pic of my daughter.
Guy said ‘hey can you take our picture?’ Total Philly accent I said ‘sure. You from Philly?’ He said ‘yeah. I noticed your hat. Tough game the other day.’ I said Yeah. tough game last night.’ He said Yup. Them’s the breaks’. I said, ‘See ya in the playoffs next year.’ He said ‘yeah, looks that way. Both these teams look pretty tough. I said ‘yeah, can you take our pic, too?’

I really hope the best for Lance and I think he should get more reps running the 2nd team to start off the season. Purdy showed just how beneficial running the opposing teams offense can be to development. The kid still has way to many IF’s to even know what we have.
Yeah, that’s how I felt when the 49ers were playing Miami in the Super Bowl.
My thought was the Niner offense was practicing against the best defense in the league and playing against Miami would be much easier.
