All Deebo, All Day, Forever

Like I’ve been saying since Deebo removed all the 49er shit from his profiles, word is trickling out from the webiverse that a deal is in the works for Deebo to get some fat stacks. Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network doesn’t believe the situation is as dire as some have insinuated. Word out there is that “there is optimism surrounding a potentially huge deal for San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Deebo Samuel, league sources told Pro Football Network,”

Thing is, Deebo is still under contract for one more season. I seriously don’t think he’s gonna sit out a season or demand a trade. And we can use the franchise tag if things don’t go as hoped. The hope is we sign him and make everyone happy. and make sure he remains a Niner for the foreseeable future.

Can’t wait until TC starts. we should have all the answers by then.

Any articles on the niners salary cap and how many big contracts this team can carry. Or are we just going to do the LA Rams thing.

Elites at the top crowding out the majority at the bottom. The California way like politics, like nfl rosters. Is that healthy.

The wisdom of giving up 1st round picks for Trey Lance with little college experience. Then breaking the bank on Trent Williams. Could we have gotten a franchise LT with last year’s non 1st rd pick?

Not even a topic in the world of modern day sports journalism. Taboo and censored? Journalism is dead in California. Like politics

Whatevs, Tom. Didn’t figure you to be a socialist. But football and socialism don’t really go together, do they? Despite Pete Rozelle’s efforts of revenue sharing.

Teams take chances on QB all the time and they ain’t stopping any time soon. Do you think KC is bemoaning trading up for Mahomes? And it’s a lot harder to draft a HOF tackle that to sign one.

So, you’re saying we should stick with Jimmy G, shed salary, and draft the entire team so we can share our wealth with the Raiders and the rest of the league? Not quite sure what your point is.

    Enjoy.

Yeah, there must be a gag order in place. Or not. Not hard to find shit like this, Tom.

We of course would do well to shed Jimmy. That gives us $25 mill instantly. How they work around the contract issues is up to Paraage. And he’s pretty good at that.

Guilty for mostly reading Homer sites 49erswebzone.com and ninersnation.com.

I do not feel good about a 22+ mil contract to deebo. I would have done the trade for NYJ #10 and draft a WR1 .

      .

First day of draft Treylon Burks was #18 in a draft day trade. 6’2 225 WR the closest to deebo in athleticism etc. On rookie contract so watch his first few years.

If we did nyj trade, deebo for #10 we could have had his clone without the ridiculous overspend.

    New thread is up.
