Looks like we get to ease into the season with a few easy ones. Seeing as the Bears are a perennial shit show, and Seattle looks to finally fall off the mountain without their fearless leader, Russell Wilson. Denver would be easy, except for the fact that Denver was Russell Wilson’s landing place.

That being said, we apparently have a tough strength of schedule schedule, mainly as we are playing the equally tough AFC West, but these things have a tendency of changing like the shifting sands of the Mohave. One year you are the hammer, the next year you are the nail.

Where are we? Don’t know yet as a) Jimmy is still here; b) Deebo isbn’t.

I think these things may work themselves out. The weirdness factor to me is that Jimmy G may very well end up on the Seahawks as they cannot be serious about going with Drew Lock. Geno Smith? Jacob Eason? Baker Mayfield? The mind boggles that Seattle had NINE picks and didn’t spend even one on a QB. Late round flier or no.

From what I have read we are tied with KC for the 5th toughest schedule. That with a new QB is gonna be tough. The good thing about it is that our whole division has pretty much the same teams to play. We catch a break in the 2nd half in that we don’t travel far(Mexico is pretty far) and barring to many injuries we have as good a shot except for maybe the Rams to get into the playoffs. My guess is at best we go 10-7 and probably I would go 9-8.

  3. Winder says:

It just goes to show how fucked up the NFL is. They make a big deal out of the schedule and play games with like letting a couple of games leak. When it actuality all it does is piss any normal fan off.

Hell of a series win for the Warriors. Tough tough team in Memphis.

This draft may have provided us with the new Alex Mack. An article builds on initial reports of Nick Zakelj, 6th rd pick out of Fordham. Ninersnation hidden gem article by Jordan Elliott.

6’6″ 315 lbs with a RAS athletic score that is 23rd out of 1200 since 1987 to 2022 of olineman. A leader and focused student.

Let’s hope so. We need stability up front.

Speaking od Hendrix I’ve heard about tapes Jimi made in his NY apartment above Cafe Whá? sketching out the Electric Ladyland songs. This is the first I’ve heard of it tho. Cool version of 1983.

  8. Winder says:

chuck, thanks for that never heard that version. A lot more peaceful that the electric ladyland tune.
