So much for never playing the Raiders in the preseason. Hopefully it isn’t a stupid-fest in the stands. We are supposed to see a lot of starters, but I don’t believe it.
Anyhow, the real season gets one more week closer. . .

Fairly solid game all around by the starters that were out there.The Raiders didn’t play many starters, but for them it doesn’t really matter. They were lousy in pass pro, Peterman was terrible, their defense couldn’t tackle, and they faded badly down the stretch. SO, nothing new there.
For us, the alternating QBs thing was reminiscent of the Brodie/Mira days of the early 60s. Before my time, but they also had Billy Kilmer on those teams. Weird dynamic there. Worked OK as Jimmy had the opening TD, and Lance had the 2nd. Lance still needs to take a little heat off those short passes as 2 possible TDs were dropped. Granted, they hit the hands of the receivers, but they were coming in hot.
I think we are ready. I didn’t hear of any injuries.
So all we have to do is get the other team to play their third stringers and we can’t lose! This shouldn’t be problem. Go Niners!

You are right Chuck, Lance needs to learn to use the touch pass more. Those fast balls are for Baseball

If he was tough as Ronnie Lott he would just cut off the finger.But since QB’s make they’re living throwing and Lott destroying anyone in his path it’s understandable to keep Lance’s hand intact..
