Nothing much going on with the NFL or the 49ers these dog days of almost summer, but hey, the Giants are in 1st place, and they just took 3 of 4 from the Dodgers. Not bad. We’ll see where they are in September, but for the time being, the Giants are holding up their end of the deal.
We are supposedly looking at Julio Jones. Which would be great, depending on the cost. This team has already given up a bunch of draft picks, so I don’t think we go that route. Plus we have a decent set of WRs now, so the need isn’t that great for what Jones would cost.
Let’s hope we have some new good old days coming up.
San Francisco 49ers Forever 
Well speaking of good old days, the 49ers are bringing in TE Delanie Walker for a tryout tomorrow.
He’s 36 now, didn’t play last year cause of covid concerns. Shanny loves his 2 TE sets só if he still has something left in the tank, he could be a solid option with Kittle as another catch option TE..
i don’t think we get Jones either but I sure would like to see it happen. It would drive defenses batshit. Love the way the Giants have been playing and who knows if we can keep it up.
Keep reminiscing on the past glory days of half a century ago because the only place the Whiners are going is nowhere fast. And the lowly little Giants will be in last place by September while LA cruises to another championship
Well, it beats you reminiscing about finally overcoming your bet-wetting after 14 years. The Dodger bullpen is nearly as bad as ours, so, they aren’t getting past the 1st round. Your Dogs and Flakers will forever be the asterisk covid bullshit-season winners. Neither are winning dick this year.
49ers did sign TE MyCole Pruitt, a well-travelled TE drafted in the 5th round in 2015 by the Vikings.
And Westie (no surprise) Richberg retired. Solid when he was on the field, but he just wasn’t on the field enough.
