The Niners are still making moves, they signed Jaquiski Tartt to a one-year deal, and they signed strong safety Tavon Wilson to a one-year deal as well. They also kept Jason Verrett (yay!) and Dontae (what, me cover?) Johnson. I guess we need bodies in camp, so we’ll see how this shakes out, but with Tavarius Moore already signed, we have some things to work out. But I like the signings as we need to keep the pieces ready, and Wilson at least has been in a lot of strong systems, and looks to be a steadying presence in the absence of Richard Sherman.
That being said, the move we are still dreaming on, Deshaun Watson, has hit a series of roadblocks. Either Watson did nothing wrong (wink wink) at the massage parlors, didn’t get the happy ending he thought he deserved after getting a massage, or he’s a major douche nozzle who is playing the “do you know who I am?” card and getting aggressive.
I’m no lawyer, but when these things happen and the people involved do not file criminal charges, wait for a year to come forward, and their lawyer trolls for others to come forward to join the gravy train, it smacks of a money grab.
No idea how this works out, but fortunately for the six teams supposedly in the running for Watson, there is no timetable to the trade. This situation can at least be dealt with before any decisions are made, but all involved would like to get this taken care of before the draft.
Like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of our lives . . .
Great song. One of my favorites. It’s really good with a set of nice headphones blasting.
Just tried to bring up some more from Electric ladyland but they don’t want you to watch for free.
I am glad we got Tartt back. If he can stay on the field it will be a big deal. I am still hoping we can get Sherman back.
Nope. Don’t need him. Don’t want him. He’s coasting on his past at this point. He should become a coach but he’s looking for one more big payday and I’m glad it ain’t us.
A Days of Our Lives fan Charlie? Or your wife watched and you got sucked in, that is my story
My mom got me into that shit 50 years ago! General Hospital, All My Children, and Days of Our Lives mainly.
I’d come home from school and fire that shit up and she’d come home from work and I’d do my homework watching that stuff. Luke and Laura. Freezing Port Charles. Evil twins, all that shit.
Fuck, I remember when Kelly Ripa made her debut on All My Children as a 16 year old metalhead chick that listened to Metallunica. Shit still cracks me up.
Yeah. Electric Ladyland is forever in my top 5 albums of all time. Stranded on a desert isle and all that shit, it would be there with me.
I love “1983 a merman I should turn to be” . these guys do a pretty good job with it.
Friend of mine was in a band called the Mermen. They played in Half Moon Bay and SF a lot about 10-20 years ago. Not a Hendrix tribute band or anything, they just took the name from the song. 90s surf music.
i like music like that, has a definite bay area sound
Shit. The 90s was 30 years ago!!! Fuck, I’m old.
And remember . . .
Jesus. 10 people including a cop who responded killed in Boulder Colo. Shooter at a grocery store.
Now that the pandemic is going away, this shit will start up again.
There are some real fucked up people, what they do just doesn’t make any sense.
This one is actually pretty good. Never heard of this guy
Shit, I saw him 3-4 times back in the day. Never got bigger than small clubs, but shit was pretty cool. He’s walk out on stage backwards, back-lit to look left-handed. He started out doing strictly a Hendrix tribute show as Randy Hansen’s Machine Gun, but started playing his own music as well. He was pretty bad-ass.
Got some pics of a show that he did. Head East opened for him. Their big hit was Never Been Any Reason.
I just found him out. i remember Head East’s Song. Came out middle 70’s.
CJ is now a Jaguar
And K’waun returns…
49ers re-signed CB K’Waun Williams to a one-year contract.
Williams, 29, returns to the Niners after a brief flirtation with the Chiefs. Primarily a slot corner in San Francisco, Williams allowed 16 receptions on 24 targets in eight games last year. He’ll play a fifth season in a 49ers secondary graded by Pro Football Focus as the NFL’s third best coverage unit in 2020
Like that signing as well.
The Beater with Baalke? Looks like the Jags are trying to recreate the trainwreck that was the Baalke era.
I love the beaters toughness but he just never got the quick read on defenses otherwise he would be a decent NFL QB.
He may be decent behind a better line, but he’s forever slow getting the ball out.
Test test

I really need to cut it out with the geriatric YouTube circle jerk. I’m glad Chuck knows so much about soap operas, at least. He knows more about that than football
Jets signed RB Tevin Coleman, formerly of the 49ers, to a one-year contract.
The deal is worth up to $2 million. It’s a terrific landing spot for Coleman, who knows the new coaching staff after spending the past couple years in San Francisco with new coach Robert Saleh and OC Mike LaFleur. The Jets don’t have a whole lot of backfield talent, and Coleman should get a chance to lead this group that also includes 2020 draft pick La’Mical Perine, Ty Johnson, and Josh Adams. Coleman’s biggest hurdle has been staying healthy. In his prime, he was one of the more dynamic speed backs with the Falcons.
I saw his name flash by my phone last night and thought it was us that signed him.
Glad it wasn’t us, but happy trails, pal. McKinnon is still unsigned. Wonder where he lands.
I will be interested to see how the Jets do.
I know mock drafts are full of shit but i saw one that I kinda liked. It has us trading back with the Jets . We give up our 12th and next years 2nd for this years 23rd and Darnold. remember what this kid has gone thru being a Jet. I think he’s only 23/24 years old and has all the tools to be taught Shanny’s system. Oh, and we still get Paye at 23. That just sounds a little too good to be true.
New thread is up.
