Game Day! Must Win Time

Hate to say it but even at this stage of the season, this is a must-win game vs the Cards.  Mainly based on the rest of the schedule in front of this game. With a streak of bad luck, this team could go 1-6 for 9-7. Shit, even Atlanta is starting to play up to their preseason expectations. I think we should  be able to eke out 3 more wins, even with the daunting schedule, and that would put us at 11-5. Win the division? Not sure. But that game in Seattle to close the season looks like it may decide the division. Lots of football between now and then.

Thing is though, we are getting slowly decimated with injuries. Kittle needs to be ready down the stretch, and so does E Sanders. The passing game totally revolves around those two guys. As does the run game. Yes, the defense is playing out of its mind, but even they are getting picked off one by one. Our depth along the line is being tested with Blair is out with an ACL tear, and of course so is Kwon Alexander.

So, we need this win to stop the bleeding, but also to get our division record on track again.

Playing here, we should do better than two weeks ago, so I;m thinking 28-17, Niners.

STAY HEALTHY!

Pettis is so deep in Shanny’s doghouse even a dog is not allowed to visit him!!
Shanny’s steamed at his work ethics and his drops when given a chance to help the club..
So I’m sure he’s bummed at drafting this bum so high and would probably be inactive most weeks if they weren’t so thin at the position!
He’s totally turned into that other #1 bust WR Jenkins(forgot 1st name but who cares) redux..

WR’s do seem to be the hardest to figure. I don’t know why that is. Petis seems to have all the talent he needs to succeed so I guess it’s mostly his desire and drive that’s holding him back. But, he’s had wakeup calls since TC and things don’t seem to be getting any better. Maybe he’s got some diva in him that makes him not do the things that are expected of him.

If Deebo had Pettis’ size, he’d be Odell Beckham III. Deebo is all heart. Pettis is no heart. Hurd I think will be great. He just has to get on the field. Same with Sanders. He’s so damn small though.

1st time I saw Deebo I saw Anquan.
      Still see it that way.
      Tough and determined.
Not words I’d use on Pettis.

The great thing about Deebo is he’s fearless and will not shy away from contact going across the middle. If anything he likes to punish DB’s which is impressive, but not always the right thing to do to survive in the NFL.But you can’t argue his heart for sure, something Pettis doesn’t have..

Pettis has made some pretty nice plays but they are few and spread out. He must have done something that really got under KS’s skin because to me it seems he is still pretty raw and could still clean up whatever it is he is doing.

9-1, baby! Now that we’re back to pocket passers the next four out of five, we can hop aboard the Bosa Express® again!

I love the guitar in this:

Yeah, it didn’t look good at the time. Just have to hope these guys are gonna be healthy when we get close to the playoffs. No idea if Kwon is in the cards, but I think Ford should be back.

Notice how fast the season’s going by when your having fun. It is amazing to me that we are in the position we are in since our team is pretty beat up

    Fucking idiot.

Fox Sports’ Andy Slater reports Mark Walton was arrested Tuesday morning.
Walton is accused of punching his five-week pregnant girlfriend “several times in the face and head” 24 hours after discovering he was the father. He was arrested Tuesday morning in South Florida and promptly waived by the Dolphins. It’s Walton’s fourth arrest in the past year following his three violations this offseason. It would obviously spell the end of Walton’s career if the allegations are proved to be true.

    i just love this guy.

    • alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Yeah Winder..Fred Rogers was one amazing man!
Here’s alittle trivia for all.Tom Hanks who’s playing him in ( perfect choice I might add) in his upcoming movie, just found out on Ancestry dot.com that he is related to him( a 6th cousin) how wild and appropriate is that!!

    • Winder's avatar Winder says:

rt- I was a capt. Kangaroo fan too. He was on tv when I was a kid. Mr. Rogers didn’t happen until 1968 when quite a few of my generation were having kids. I thought his show was good for real little ones to see since character begins at a very young age.

  12. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Hey, it was only Walton’s 4th arrest this year. Possession, weapons charges, domestic violence, and this new one. Poor guy can’t catch a break.

I’m kidding of course. People get their nipples in a twist over some things, but this stuff? Naaah.

  13. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Yeah, Cap’t Kangaroo (and Mr. Greenjeans) fan myself.

then again we had Charlie and Humphrey, and Cap’t Satellite here in the Bay Area when I was a kid in the late 60s. Good times.

    New thread is up.
