OhiO

While the team is hanging in Youngstown, we are trying to figure out if we are real or lucky. Can we run? Is our O line crap? Can Jimmy G avoid the pick 6? Can we stop Ginger and his 400+ yards last week?

Sure, it’s all possible, it’s just that we have to stop making stupid mistakes. Stop with the TD killing penalties, stop dropping interceptions, stop dropping the linebackers 15 yards on 3rd and 17, you know, GET SMART.

Hitting the beer a little early? Geraldo Rivera?

  5. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Blowing calls left and right does nothing for the ratings. As has been proven over and over, it is driving people AWAY from the game.

Vegas involvement I buy much more than a ratings grab. People have show to watch ANYTHING football related. So getting viewers isn’t the issue. Tilting the over/under or spread? Sure.

I loved that Kittle got a Joker Tat prior to his wedding.
Guessing we’re all close in age, familiar with Batman?
Was the Joker really a bad guy or, just too smart for his own good?
I’m leaning towards Kittle and the Joker.

Sid Caesar was a pretty good joker.

    • rtfirefly's avatar rtfirefly says:

Sid Caesar was freakin’ hilarious, and could play second fiddle to Ethel Merman, Jonathan Winters, Milton Berle, and yeah those other two guys.

That movie had the three kings of ’50s television: Sid Caesar, Milton Berle, and Phil Silvers. They owned the #1 watched TV shows in America for the full decade.

        Caesar Romero I meant. Doh!

Mad Mad Mad World was awesome. A little before my time, but they showed it somewhere when I was about 12.

Don’t forget Mickey Rooney. Buddy Hackett was funny as fuck in that movie.

One of Spencer Tracey’s last movies iirc.

      • rtfirefly's avatar rtfirefly says:

Mickey Rooney was a midget wannabe tough guy punk, and the other guy was a dive vulgar nightclub comic who gained fame with 101 trombones and his part in this movie and did absolutely nothing with it. The other men were kings. Ethel Merman was a queen of the stage. Jonathan Winters is a personal favorite.

Johnathan Winters was such a great comedian, his facial expressions always cracked me up!
I would of loved to have had him as my Grandfather, the guy was hilarious 😆

Actually Spencer Tracy’s last film was “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” A great movie with Sidney Poitier and very controversial at the time with a interracial relationship.Audrey Hepburn was fantastic as his wife(off screen as well) helping him as well as her( with alcohol) to understand what the 60’s and bigotry was all about..

49ers waive TE Kaden Smith to make room for RB Jeff Wilson. Note to 49ers stop drafting Stanford players they SUCK unless named Christian McCafferty

  16. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Huh. Glad we kept Wilson. Just hope he don;t fumble.
