That’s a Wrap . . .

Yes, another disappointing season bites the dust as we close the 2018 season with another set of double-digit losses and another high pick. We won’t know for a few more hours our draft position, but #1 is still in play. Seeing as the Rams are playing for home field, I give us little hope, but the Rams offense has lost their luster since their 54-51 win over KC a while back.

Seattle is resting their starters, os keep hope alive that AZ pulls one out of their ass.

I could go on about the season, but we all saw the slowly moving train wreck that started with jiny G going down, and the emergence of Nick Mullens as a viable backup. For all the scrubs we employed on offense, they did pretty well. The defense? Not so much. They did get a little better toward the end of the year as they went more press man.

Looks like Bosa or Quinnen for us.

Chance to work with top talent ahead of the Combine and, actually evaluate in person, while also wearing/playing in pads.
      Kudos to Lynch and Shanny.

Only 251 days till Opening Day!

Next year’s schedule is gonna be a bitch though. Wash and GB as our easy games? NFC South, AFC North. Even with Jimmy G. back. 8-8 might be a successful season. All will depend on our D. The NFL record for fewest turnovers in a season. That doesn’t work.

I think we left maybe 6 ints on the table by dropping easy ones. Even with those we are WAY underturnovered. We did get some bad bounces, but 90% of all turnovers come from a pass rush. Which we didn’t have. I’m leaning much more to Josh Allen as our pick. We need a complete disruptor from the edge. He had 17 sacks and a shit ton of tackles.

God, it’s gonna be another long offseason. I don’t think I’m gonna involve myself much until after the combine. It gets to be too much bullshit until the draft.
