Excuse me if I’m wrong, but I don’t get the Bears. They lose to the hapless Giants and beat the high-flying Rams. They beat Seattle but lose to the Phins. I just don’t know how real they are. They have scored a ton some days (41 vs the Bills, 48 vs the Bucs, 38 vs the Pats in a loss), and little on some days (16 vs the cards in a win, 15 vs the Rams in a win) so they have a good defense, except for the 31 they gave up to the Dolphins, 38 to the Pats, and 30 to the Giants.
Yes, they have Khalil Mack, a one-man wolf pack, but neutralize him, and there are points to be gotten. However, teams are doing it with their WRs, not TEs, so we need to get Pettis, Bourne and Goodwin more involved. Quick passes with the occasional deeper routes. Then go underneath to Kittle. They are tough on the run, as we just saw with Gurley and the Rams, so this is going to be a tough game for the Niners.
I think we keep it close, but if BDN pulls this off somehow, he’ll be the new stud of the league. Win? Doubt it.

And, if anyone cares, tonight is quite possibly the last game the Raiders will play in the Mausoleum. I’ve seen 3 football games there, 5 baseball games there, and about 45 concerts.
The Raiders game will be on Monday night, sonny boy.

Saw the Reds celebrate on the mound Game 4 of their 4-0 sweep in the World Series. Best seat ever, last row which became Mt. Davis. View of the entire North Bay Area from the last row. Another year, another game sat in my only ever “luxury” box with the plastic screen in front so dirty you had to move it aside to clearly see the game. When I was at Cal, watched Rickey Henderson and Tony Armas play Billy Ball under Billy Martin.
Never saw a Raider game. Bleh. A’s only.
Never went to a Raider game their but saw a boatload of A’s games. Loved the Billy Ball era and with Bart it was so easy to get in and out. Also loved the days on the green when you could stay in the parking lot the night before. Good times.

Yeah, Winder, the parties the night before the concerts were usually way out of hand. More than a few times I saw guys passed out before shows that were still there 14 hours later.
Poor NoFear has to resort to posting like a butt-hurt 12 year old.
I think we will give Chicago a good game, hopefully they are overlooking us a little. If we can protect Mullens we have a legit shot. This is one game I wish I was there, you get a bunch of kids with a lot of confidence and no telling what’s gonna happen.
Once again it’s all about the pressure. Mullens did a good job of extending plays last week under pressure. Mack is a whole different thing though. Trubisky is all over the place and we can rattle him if we get pressure.
Stupid backwards pass Trubsiky tried there, no chance for the RB who got smoked and coughed it up with Buckner making the fumble recovery..
This is one tough game.
