We seem to be in the holding pattern of 1 win, 2 losses as this bland flavorless season continues it’s slow march to oblivion.
Looks like the 1985 team of Jimmy Davenport is safe in the knowledge that they will continue to be the one and only 100 loss team in the 144 year history of the NY/SF Gothams/Giants.
I mean, 5 more wins out of 21 games shouldn’t be that hard. Right?

I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

v has something to work with now. But will he. He’ll probably cave and bat Adames too high on the theory that Willy needs the emotional boost. Would be a big mistake imo. Schmitt right now surely can bat behind the two guys who always put the ball in play. And who can run. Sensibly behind Chapman and Eldridge too. Perhaps v will confer with wiser coaches on the off day.

Eldridge quotes show up all over beat writers’ commentaries and he’s always very positive and even keel. Seems very mature and quite enjoying himself. Baggs has said some things about Chapman as team leader as well. I’m sure POBO is well aware of all he brings to game and clubhouse.

If you look at the top run scoring teams, there’s often no correlation between how well a team hits with RISP and the relative productivity of the offense. The game when he was the potential winning run with 2 outs and he struck out to end it, really bugged him, but teammates especially Chapman his mentor said don’t worry about it your turn will come up again soon and you will learn from that AB and be focused in more.And last night the focus came to fruition with that walkoff Grandslam!!
