Christian Kirk is out. Mike Evans is a game-time decision, but I think he plays. We did bump a WR, Malik Turner, and linebacker Jalen Graham up to the roster from the PS. But I’m sure Turner is here for Kirk.
The next-man-up thing is great until we get like last year when we were playing 4th string guys at WR and LB. Spots where we are thin again.
At this point all I want to see is a game where we don’t lose 2-3 guys. We don’t need to go all-out for this win, but every game is a big one in the NFL these days. As is that #1 seed. If only to heal up.
I’m OK with Bosa not being back, as long as we can dial up the pressure like we did last week. We seem to struggle with mobile QBs, and Daniels is certainly that.
Evans avoided major injury but have no idea the extent of his achilles issue.
We NEED to get Jennings back. Do it for a 5th round pick. But relly, I don’t expect Minnesota helping us at this point in the season
Yeah, they won’t do us any favors. And it’s possible he doesn’t want to come back here anyway. I am to lazy to look but I am sure there are a lot of WR’s out there that could help.
I think our D-line is starting to turn into a solid unit. Mykel Williams was dominant. Keion White looked good, especially the game sealing sack. Height is starting to get to the QB. He was right there with White for the finalsack. Osa is solid as advertised and Halton has been the surprise of the draft. I remember when we drafted Halton, Lynch was saying we were trying to move up to get him, but we could not find a trade partner, so had to wait at our spot and ended up getting him anyway. With Bosa back, this line should be really good.
I’d still take Vita Vea or Deron Pane.
Valdez is coming on strong too. A true edge rusher and a true NT would make this a formidable line.
I think our WRs will be fine after the bye week. It might cost us the Atlanta game, but I think we should stand pat if we think we are getting Evans, Robinson and Debo back by that time.
We should have Kirk back for Atlanta. Cooks will have another week of practice and Watkins and Cowing can occupy space until they get cut. Watkins has had a few nice catch and runs.
“How does Qui9nn survive this debacle?” How did Quinn even get hired again after that horrendous Super Bowl choke job? Oops, I guess Shanahan was involved in that too, so… nevermind…
And yeah, Tommy Bolin was tragic but great, but I’m a Joe Walsh guy. Not Eagles Joe, James Gang Joe…
Tale of 2 halves for Purdy from what I saw…
Only time I saw Joe Walsh was with the Eagles on the Hotel Calif tour. He played some of his own stuff thankfully.
Yeah, if ever there’s a game that we just might let slip away, it’s this one in Atlanta.
Hey, start Mac Jones, sit Kittle and CMC, and make this a load management game!
New thread is up.
