Well, the defense is not gonna get a patsy to warm up with after the break. We get to take on the 6-2 Jax Jags. Trevor Lawrence. 6-2 yet they are amazingly 14th in total offense, 14th in passing yards, and 14th in rus=hing yards per game. And 23rd in defense.
Beating patsies? Sure, but it seems 2/3 of the league is patsies, and we’ve been beaten by 3 in a row. Well, 2. I’ll give Cincy credit. They’ve righted their shit after a shitty start with a hurt Burrow. Travis Etienne is a solid rusher and they can throw with the best of them.
No time like the present to right the ship. Lose this one and we could lose our way entirely.

It’s just so hard to gauge who’s really good these days. A team like Miami plays great against the shit teams and folds against good ones. Jax has beaten Buff and Pittsburgh and lost to KC and Houston.
Deetroit is 6-2 (on the easiest sched in the league), having shocked KC, but got stomped by Balt and Seattle beat them.

Purdy has bounced back in major way. That clutch conversion to Aiyuk bailed out his idiot teammates for taking Thomas’ TD off the board and salvaged that drive. Deebo capped it. The throw to Kittle for the TD was ridiculously good.
Why is Shanny playing Purdy and CMC when the team is up by 31 points? Who cares about a consecutive TD record. Just looking for a nonsensical injury…
Had some issues with streameast, but that was a fun game to watch. Like Winder, glad to see Deebo score and also just to see him back.
All in all a great effort. It even looked like Wilks liked being on the sidelines. Incredibly boneheaded play by the defensive guys to run on the field while the return was going on. Glad that didn’t matter.
Purdy was great. Chase Young was solid. Nice get. Plenty of pressure. Some stupid penalties. Too many again. Can;t get out of our way at times. Shoulda put this game away earlier.
