CBS Sports is reporting that the 49ers have an offer on the table for Jimmy and it is two 2nd round picks. More than likely, if true, it involves the Saints or the Colts. If it was a team that Lynch didn’t want to trade with, say Carolina or Seattle, I don’t think he’d go public with the report. Then again, the report could be utter bullshit.
Lynch could be trying to sweeten the pot. The empty pot. If he had an offer like that, the truth is he’d mre that likely jump at it. I would. Anyhow, it’s out there.

The Colts just got a good QB and one that can throw the long ball. I wouldn’t put it past Seattle to make that offer just to see what we would do. I thought for sure we would have offered Key a contract extension but he had such a good year he’s probably looking for a long term deal.
The Colts got an old guy who may or may not snap like a twig under pressure. Unreal that the Falcons are eating $40 million.
The NFL is gonna look a worlds different this year with all this quarterback movement.

Are the 49ers just keep him, hell Aaron Rodgers sat on the bench for 3 years before the Pack and Farve parted ways, so that could be an option still for a second year,but then again 27 million in cap money saved goes along way to signing extensions on players like Deebo&Bosa..
They can do what all the other teams in the league are doing converting his base salary into a signing bonus and keep him for another year. I still have a feeling we get something for him though.

Just read about the Colts/Atlanta deal. As it turns out both teams got a great deal. The 40 mil atlanta loses has already been paid. Atl. saves on this years and next cap hit and also gets a 3rd. rounder. There was no reason to keep Ryan for another year of mediocracy.
The colts got a good 1or2 year stop gap for a QB they said Ryan has only missed one game in the last several years but he is 37 years old.
One thing about Matt Ryan like Winder mentioned, he doesn’t miss games,14 years and only missed 3 starts is what I found, damm incredible.He’s obviously an upgrade over Wentz are even Jimmy G

Like I said, we have 27 players that are FAs. We are bound to lose a lot. I’m not too too disappointed with who’s leaving. Mostert? We got Mitchell. Tomlinson is about the only one I really didn’t want to see go. DJ Jones was a bummer but he can be replaced.
We’ll see how the rest fall, but it’ll be a bunch.
