Game Day XVII – Welcome Back My Friends to the Season that Never Ends

The first game 17 in NFL history, with the added playoff spot adds lots on intrigue as wel would be out without it, but color me disappointed. All signs point to Jiminy Cricket starting. Not happy about that. I thought Lance’s game showed enough progress to allow him the chance to play a meaningful game. But no, Kyle rides with the dead horse, Jimmy G.

And make no mistake, this decision has NOTHING to do with Kyle’s perception of how well Lance grasps the offense. This is strictly Shammy’s bullheadedness getting in the way. Oh well. The hope is after the teams trade 1st quarter pick 6’s, Kyle makes the change.

On the good news side, our defensive backfield is finally back to full health and PI magnets josh Norman and Dontae Johnson will not be starting. Even Ambry Thomas, the guy who is playing well lately is off the COVID list. Al-Saair and Greenlaw are also possibles to play. I hope they can go full speed because they are desperately needed to stop the bubble screens and short shit teams kill us with.

This game will depend on how well Elijah Mitchell can run, and how much pressure we get on Matt Stafford. Do both well, and we can win.

Still think Shanny keeps his spell over McVay. 30-21 Niners.

Fucking Harbaugh back in the NFL? Be still my heart. He’s a fucking anachronism. He and the Bears can play 1950s football, go 9-8, and miss the playoffs every year.

If he has the chance pretty sure it will be the Bears. Unless they draft one he won’t have a Frank Gore this go round. It would be fun playing against him. Wonder if McCluhan(sp) will help with their drafts. Just might resurrect part of the old Black&Blue division.

Gettlemen retires as GM with the NY Giants why wasn’t he fired instead and why is Joe Judge still the HC? You know when your a shit team u just have to clear out the stench, some teams never will get that!

Miami HC Brian Flores was a real surprise especially after going 8-1 down the stretch, he’s to good of a young coach to be unemployed very long! I’ve heard rumors they’re was internal bickering about changes on the coaching staff to the continuing obsession of going after Deshaun Watson who Flores did not want to pursue.

Did you see the play NY ran on 3rd and 9 from their own 5? They had the QB behind center, and had 3 RBs crowded right next to and behind the QB. A 1930s formation that got nothing.

The fans went bonkers. Unreal how fucked up that organization is. Even the Jets have more hope now.

Flores was stupid. Sounds a lot like when Monte Clark got the axe from Joe Thomas. We went right into the toilet after that.

    New thread is up.
