Didn’t see this one. Richard Sherman hit the IR today with a calf injury. The Niners activated Donte (olé) Johnson to replace hij, and signed CBs Ken Webster, Brian Allen and Christian Angulo to the practice squad and shoved Tim Harris Jr to the IR as well.
In other bad news, Rick James strained his hamstring in the loss, and he and George Kittle aren’t practicing today. They are day-to-day. But, and this is a nice but, Brandon Aiyuk should be ready to go vs the Jets.
In other news, we are giving Ziggy Ansah a look at pass rushing DE today. He has worked with D line coach Kris Kocurek with the Lions and he’s highly regarded.
Anyhow, since this is the Jets, we should be able to get on top of these guys and simply wear them down. The Jets are terrible and if we don’t wax these guys it’ll be a bad harbinger of things to come.
I feel real bad for NJ as the 49ers are coming to town for TWO weeks, and there will be no fans allowed. So close, yet so far.

Lol, Bro, FF is nothing but a gamble. Every year at least a couple of my 1st, and 2nd round picks end up doing diddly. I got Thomas on quite a few teams, But I ended up with Bell with quite a few also(very stupid) and now I am dumping him for anybody. I usually end up with a few championships but I also end up in last place with some of em. That’s why I don’t spend money on em.

Tell ya one thing, when you have 2 WRs that can get open at will, you can have 6-7 guys stay in and block on the pass plays. Our pass rush was negated by AZ by sheer numbers.
All the passes were out in under 4 seconds. We couldn’t seem to devise any pays like that on our side of the ball.

Interesting development on the 4th down play. Watch Pettis on the upper left. Jimmy throws the ball too quick while still having time, and doesn’t even look at Pettis. If he makes the throw to Taylor it doesn’t matter anyway, but Pettis would have walked into the end zone.
