The 49er roster as of now is full. They signed 11 undrafted free agents to fill out their roster. Their UDFA’s are (thx Winder):
JaMycal Hasty, RB, Baylor
Chris Finke, WR, Notre Dame
DeMarkus Acy, DB, Missouri
Jared Mayden, S, Alabama
Ronnell Perkins, S, Missouri
Chase Harrell, TE, Arkansas
Broc Rutter, QB, North Central
Jonas Griffith, LB, Indiana State
Salvon Ahmed, RB, Washington
Josh Hokit, FB, Fresno State
Darrion Daniels, DE, Nebraska
We should be thanking Daniel Snyder as well, as the 49ers tried to trade for Trent Williams last year, and they wanted a 1st round pick for him. Getting him for a 3 and 5 is relative peanuts, even if for only one year. But I think we’ll be able to work out a deal for a few more seasons.
For all intents and purposes, the 49ers nailed this draft for their particular needs. And I’m not the only one that thinks so.

Granted, Kinlaw could be an injury risk with his knee tendonitis, Aiyuk could flame out a la AJ Jenkins, and Trent could be just a one-year rental, but as of now we are looking pretty good.
This guy Chris Finke a white gritty slot receiver/ punt returner/special teams player from Norte Dame only 5’9 190 lbs, but SF must see something in him as they gave him 95,000 to sign.Other teams were supposedly wanting him as well.
Maybe a depth guy for now are practice squad.Might even take always injured guy Trent Taylor’s spot..
Chuck- that’s a great link you posted above. Good stuff on the QB from North Central.
He kinda reminds me of Murray with AZ. Our defense needs to practice against QB’s that scramble all the time. i think he has a good chance at the PS. Beathard is probably gone.
i’m hoping for some kind of trade for him. Same with Solly.
One of the problems about trading players is without the usual TC injuries which since there is no TC teams won’t be looking to replace players. Not quite sure Lynch is ready to throw in the towel on Solly just yet. Beathard would make a good #2 QB for a lot of teams. The kid is tough as nails.
He’s TOO tough. He holds the ball way too long and takes hits he shouldn’t. And seems unable to make progress in that area. That’s the one thing that keeps him from at least a steady career as a backup.
Yeah grump I agree.
The Beater has a track record at least. He should be worth something to somebody. Look how long butt fumble lasted. It shouldn’t be too hard to replace him.
We’ll be getting paid to sit on the couch this season and when the NFL restarts in 2021 all of these amazing new players will lead the 49ers to a 9-7 record and a wildcard berth in Seattle! Excellent off-season.
Keep trying, Skippy.
If we can get Moore, Jones and Blair back Solly will be down to 3rd string. K-Street? Who knows?
Moore and Jones really came on last year. Blair can’t stay on the field and who knows anything about Street. He will probably be the odd man out.
I’m still pulling for Kentavius Street in any kind of depth role on the DL.. Anybody that can squat 700lbs 3 times in a row is one strong motherfucker, and should help plug holes against the run..
He has to get on the field. I’m hoping as well, He and Hurd can help this team immesely.
Yeah otherwise it’s 2 wasted draft choices.I know all teams go through that and wonder later on “Why did we draft that guy?”
I personally will give a lot more slack for a player that’s just been hard lucked to stay healthy, compared to a player that just thinks he can skate and not improve. For me that’s Dante Pettis who certainly has turned out as a wasted pick, and Shanny knows it,as he’s constantly in his doghouse..
So I believe the Vikings 4th rd pick they got from the Niners was used on DE D.J. Wonnum from South Carolina who many think was a reach pick and only graded out with a C+… So in the long run Aicuk pick looks real good..
