Pick a Story Line

Wily old coach who lollygagged his only Super Bowl shot away in 21 years of being a head coach?

Young upstart coach who couldn’t get a 1st down in the 2nd half with a 25 point lead and 17 minutes left in the game?

Young hotshot quarterback coming off an MVP season and about to be crowned Super Bowl champ and king of the world?

Perennial understudy game-managing quarterback who will be handing his off way to the podium?

High flying offense?

Hard hitting defense?

Even Vegas is having a hard time figuring this one out. The O/U dropped at 52.5 and all the money went to the over. In the first 24 hours of betting, there was ONE bet on the under. Vegas then jumped it to 54, and that hasn’t really changed things.

The line on the game has gone from pick ’em to -1.5 Chiefs to even -2 Chiefs. Frankly I thought the Niners would be favored by 2, but then again, I don’t see the numbers going anywhere past +/- 2 either way. Still a ton of money to be bet in the next 12 days.

They showed the KC/Niner game from last year on NFL network. The one where Jimmy G got hurt, and KC jumped out to a 35-7 lead and came a couple penalties from blowing that lead. Dee Ford sacked Jimmy a couple times, and we committed 17 penalties for 165 yards. None more galling than a BS offensive pass interference call on Juice in the end zone that would have closed the score to 38-31 with 5 minutes left.

I”m just thankful this isn’t the KC officiating crew. There were about 8 BS penalties called on the Niners.

Point being, in the 2nd half we kept outside contain on Mahomes. KC scored 3 points in the 2nd half. Mahomes was killing the Niners sprinting to his right and buying time. When the edge was occupied, esp to his right, he was not nearly as effective. That game was actually a pretty good look at how to slow down Mahomes. Keep the edges occupied and traffic in his face and he looks mortal.

The only story worth picking today are the dingleberries out of your rump after Fkying V shoved a buttplug the size of a Cadillac up that fudge tunnel. Because you sharted yourself so bad by washing Jed’s balls after posting this gem:

Well played, dingus. I mean really, you spend valuable time coming up with 64,000 new emails just so you can post these idiotic posts? I guess you didn’t like what I dropped on your site!

Walrus has only gone to the SB once, way back in 2005 with the Eagles and loss that game to the Patriots.Dont see any advantage over Shanny in this matchup. If anything Kyle who’s more a brilliant offensive coach, should get the best of Reid in play calling..

That’s pretty cool. Saw Beatlemania in the late 70s. This is better. Haven’t listened to this in a while.

yeah, there is no doubt that Jimmy is the glue holding it all together. Every win has been a total team effort but in my mind it starts with Jimmy. Just like it started with Montana.

    There’s this . . .

Sure sounds like the story is we have no chance. Bill Walsh thrived on this kind of press.

Remember before XIX when all the media wanted to talk about was the Quarterback God, Dan Marino?

      Pepperidge Farm remembers.

    • Winder says:

Sounds like we got em just where we want em. I don’t know how this is gonna turn out but I do know there is no give up to our team. We may lose but i don’t see us getting blown out.
