Even Vegas is having a hard time figuring this one out. The O/U dropped at 52.5 and all the money went to the over. In the first 24 hours of betting, there was ONE bet on the under. Vegas then jumped it to 54, and that hasn’t really changed things.
The line on the game has gone from pick ’em to -1.5 Chiefs to even -2 Chiefs. Frankly I thought the Niners would be favored by 2, but then again, I don’t see the numbers going anywhere past +/- 2 either way. Still a ton of money to be bet in the next 12 days.
San Francisco 49ers Forever 
They showed the KC/Niner game from last year on NFL network. The one where Jimmy G got hurt, and KC jumped out to a 35-7 lead and came a couple penalties from blowing that lead. Dee Ford sacked Jimmy a couple times, and we committed 17 penalties for 165 yards. None more galling than a BS offensive pass interference call on Juice in the end zone that would have closed the score to 38-31 with 5 minutes left.
I”m just thankful this isn’t the KC officiating crew. There were about 8 BS penalties called on the Niners.
Point being, in the 2nd half we kept outside contain on Mahomes. KC scored 3 points in the 2nd half. Mahomes was killing the Niners sprinting to his right and buying time. When the edge was occupied, esp to his right, he was not nearly as effective. That game was actually a pretty good look at how to slow down Mahomes. Keep the edges occupied and traffic in his face and he looks mortal.
