Hey, I know. The draft is over. Well, talking about it never is, so there’s that. Just wanted to post this draft info re the NFC West by draftnik Chris Trapasso. Interesting take on the Cardinals, if nothing else. He says they nailed the draft, did very well in free agency and were smart in going away from Josh Rosen. Kingsbury even gets high marks for his high-powered offense. We’ll see about that, and how fast they assimilate all their changes.
He gives the 49ers high marks. His only ding was shared by most of us. Not much in the way of secondary help. But he notes the pass rush should be vastly improved, Jimmy G and new weapons should do wonders. The hope is with another season under their belts, this offense improves greatly and the defense finally gets its collective shit together.
The Hawks and Rams are who they are and shouldn’t be backsliding much, if at all. Though I think Seattle’s defense will finally suffer from all their losses these last couple years.
Thing is, this division should be one of the tougher ones going forward. All these teams improved, and all could be vying for playoff berths.
Well, I’m a loser who lives in grandma’s tailer’s outhouse. My biggest joy in life is to troll blogs when I can get access at the library.
On paper it does look like our team is coming together. I do get tired of reading/listening to the so called experts on our draft picks. It’s gonna take a while before we really know if our new players are any good at the NFL level. We are gonna make some mistakes but so does every other team. I kinda hope that AZ will at least be a challenge this year. They are betting on their new QB being the next M. Vick. We shall see. We will do fine as long as Jimmy stays upright, I doubt we will get blown out in any games if we can stay somewhat healthy. At this point if we can be competitive and play a full 60 minutes I will be happy.
My only real interest in that article was the guy’s take on Rosen and that they did well to get out from under him and get Kyler Murray. Murry, undersized and mobile, is a gamble. One that will make or break the franchise for the next 4 years.
Ballsy move to say the least. Kingsbury is certainly a bit of an offensive guru so they have the makings of a team that will improve. By how much remains to be seen, but The Rams and Seattle aren’t going anywhere and if we live up to expectations, it’s gonna be a dogfight this year.
Just looking at our current roster just shows the competition going on in with some positions. We are gonna lose some good players with cuts and pilfering of our PS. Lots of names i don’t even remember us picking them up and I am sure plenty of them are camp fodder. Anyway, RB and WR look to have some brutal competition. There is probably one spot up for grabs in both areas.
It would be nice if we could trade some of the guys that came out of the woodwork last year. Like Mostert. Get some secondary help and depth.
Well. Robbie is holding out for a new contract. This one could get ugly.
Good news, Chuckles! Happy hour starts at 5 and there’s a chance the Dubs can come back if me and their six other all stars are in the game tonight. So you’ll get to be drunk AND delusional this evening!
Suck a pistol, squeeb.
What’s funny is there is no way in hell the Bears sign Gould. Not sure what he is hell-bent on accomplishing. Getting traded to the Vikes? The Packers? Sit out, fucknut. Find Fat Ray’s son or some shit.
Why don’t you stop worrying about what the Bears are doing and start worrying about the Niners missing the playoffs again? You’re obsessed with Chicago. And my Beatles songs are the best.
Because Gould has been crying about the Bears all offseason, dumbfuck.
Never liked that song.
When the Stones did their take on country or even Mississippi blues, they immersed in it. They didn’t do joke songs like that one imo.
The Beatles did a lot of silly songs, that was just one of them
