The New Phone Book is Here!

Well, at least we don’t travel overseas. And Brazil? Wow. Sure glad we dodged THAT bullet. Other than that, here’s the placeholder for the announcement of the schedule. Jolly Roger leaves no chance for a money grab hype fest to go by unmined, so here we are with 32 teams dropping tweets, instacraps, tiktoks, and all other means of social media droppings, so watch the hilarity at 5:00 PM PT for the shenanigans. Shanahananigans?

I’m gonna be building a fence after work, so I’ll find out the thrilling news a bit later.

Sometimes the interwebs come up with amazing things like that.

Never seen that video till today. Very cool. Satanic Majesties was pretty much a mess of an album, but there were some great songs on it. This one, and Rainbow. Someone was recently using it for an ad. Really funny when you think about it.

“She comes in colors.” Are you selling paint, or Viagra?

I think the stones felt they needed to put out a record like that. The middle 60’s were over and popular music was heading in a bunch of new directions. Personally I liked it. The next album after that one Beggars Banquet proved to be the direction they would take for years to come. The death of Brian Jones and the hiring of Mick Taylor catapulted the band to a whole new level.

Speaking of opening things up. Niners passed almost twice as much as they ran in the SB. The league pendulum was starting to swing towards running mostly due to the success the 9ers were having with it but I think Shanahan intends to increase the pass over run ratio this year because he has Purdy distributing the ball. I think thats why they took a couple of WR’s, also with an eye towards replacing Deebo, Jennings or both next year.

    Irish will be happy!

Yeah, a lot can be pinned on the fact Shanny went away from the run in the 3rd quarter (2 carries for CMC) and it bit Shanny in the ass.

    Our 10-3 lead became a 13-10 deficit.

Yeah it did, the receivers couldn’t get open fast enough, except for Jennings, leaving Purdy with nowhere to go.

I also think Jennings can do quite a bit of what Deebo can given the chance. Had the Niners won the SB Jennings may well have earned MVP in that game.

Read this morning that we will face 4 teams coming off their bye this year. That is a lot but we also did it last year and went 2-2. Got a lot of east coast trips also.

    • 12th Man's avatar 12th Man says:

True but this year 3 of those 4 teams are SB quality teams. It will be hard to go 2-2 this time around.

In other news, the JETS somehow have 6 primetime games this year, 6 for a team that has done nothing, other than hiring Rodgers, to deserve that kind of national exposure.

      Robger* Goodell strikes again.

On the other hand, Robger, did gift us more 6 primetime opportunities to watch the Cowboys eat shit and die, including against our Niners. Cheers to that!

If Rodgers makes it to week 4 I’ll be very surprised.
